    HAHA! oh gawd! bless him!
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Although I might not love OH very much if he drops the baby! He has never held a baby before

I might not let him hold him though. He is MY baby and I'm holding him all the time. No-one else is getting thier hands on my baby :)

    (Will this possessiveness leave me?!)

FG, the possessivness is a funny thing... You're torn between 'give it back, it's mine' and 'oh don't they look so cute together'...

I just folded about 4 loads of washing then had to have a nap! Woke up starving hundry so waiting for my soup to cool down enough to pour down my neck... Really need to finish putting the christmas decs away!

  • Mine keeps calling me to check I'm ok - but if I don't get to the phone on time he tells me off for not keeping it right next to me. Bless him, he is worried I will fall and not be able to get up or something!

Nicole, yes, I'm sure there are tons of other things too - I want to see if there is a baby swimming thing (although I can always just go with my Mum - it would be nice to do a few "groups" though!)

And Sam, glad your placenta is behaving itsself :) A pink bump then - you can start pinpointing names then!

My hubby thinks I shouldn't be leaving the house while there's ice and snow about... Told me I should keep Aimee off school for the duration... and even txt me after he'd left to tell me to watch my step as it was really slippy...

Ladybird, our local public baths do 2 toddler swimming sessions a week, and one in the next town does 1 a week (nicer pool but a nightmare to get to) They lay on an instructor who just potters about giving tips if you want them and I've seen tiny babies in there... Check your local council website for the pool timetable or just give them a ring and ask... Aimee starts her swimming lessons tomorrow, she can't wait!!

Has just taken ages to catch up!! Thought i talked a lot!

Have been to doctors this morning to fill in forms and she mentioned about folic acid I have been really struggling to take this as it makes me sick every time, she had a bit of a moan about how important it is and I must try and keep it down.....easier said than done. Is there any foods that are worth trying to eat more off that may give me some of the benifits of the folic acid??? Took your advice and have been eating first thing before i get out of bed and seems to be helping also been drinking loads of milk seems to be the only thing i seem to want to drink that doesnt make me feel sick!

    AG x

Was wondering where you had run off to :D

Did tell you milk seems to agree for some reason :)

Folic acid - it made me feel more sick too but I kept on - I did speak to my GP as I was vomiting so much I wasn't sure how much I was absorbing. He said that I should keep taking them but actually the most important folic acid was what you consumed in the months preceding the conception. The baby will take what it needs from your body and if you already had a store and you still eat a balanced diet (I chose not to mention my McD craving at this point...) then the benefit is very small. The difference that folic acid makes is very small in statistical terms anyway: ie the chances of your baby having any problems as a result of you not taking the folic acid is small, all you are doing is making it marginally smaller.
Yes you should still take it every day if you can, but don't loose sleep over it and just try and have a balanced diet. There are foods out there that are folic acid enriched and a google search should bring them up :)

Mrs T -is your sickness gone now?

Just about - somethings will still set me off very easily - smells especially! But I can make it through most days now with little nausea and some days NONE!!! It's just certain things that still trigger it I think...
