I was 46 before I got pregnant, gained 6.5lbs so far and up to 47. Midwifes have all been fine, its only the mean consultant who is a problem!
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

Apparently sonographer just cant get a clear enough picture of bubs heart or spine, so got to have another scan when bubs is a bit bigger and more defined. I dont mind, it means more time off work and I get to see baby again.:D

Can't remember mine... Might be 42 or 45... That's probably why my 20 week scan is booked in for 22 weeks...

AM, I didn't claim for my MA straight away when I had Aimee because it is not a qualifying benefit for the SSMG... I claimed that first then MA after but they back dated it from the day I was entitled so I ended up with a giro for more than £700!!! (I went and bought a dishwasher with it ;)) So don't worry if they're slow with the forms, you'll get it all back paid...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks for that, I didnt think about the SSMG, me and OH are going to have to start a claim together for tax credits from Monday, completely forgot we might not be entitled to the SSMG! hopefully we will, he's not been working long and is on a pretty low wage so I reckon we would get more than the minimum CTC required.

If his wages aren't great then you will do, hubby earns crap money (£15k) so we get higher CTC and WTC so we're going to get the SSMG... Will pay for my designer high chair and a posh buggy but I think that's all this baby is getting new lol...

The pushchair you're getting from mothercare, the silvercross, is it umbrella folding? I think it's gorgeous but already got 1 big pram that's no good on the bus so need a nice umbrella pushchair too...

Let me start with saying that I hope no-one thinks me too presumptious/arrogant to start this thread. I do enjoy reading about other people's projects/adventures on OS and thought that if there are other pregnant ladies out there it might be good to share our little adventure. Of course, everyone else is more than welcome, and I am sure that some of you who have been there, done that, might have some kindly advice to share :)

I have a 2 year old daughter and have been suffering from low blood pressure causing quite a bit of dizziness and fainting, so I try to keep things quick and simple while being as old-style as possible. (Laziness may have something to do with this too ;) In fact, even before I became pregnant I preferred quick and simple! I am sure all of us with kids might have tips to help eachother out here :)) I am also trying to keep a good watchful eye on my diet as I really don't want to put 4 stones on this time. Last pregnancy I ate rather well yet still managed that enormous weight gain! Obviously I always try to feed my family as well as I can.

On top of this, I have to try and keep to a food budget of £25.

I was thinking of posting my meal plans and shopping lists, recipes, and progress (weightwise) if anyone is interested? If nothing else, I think keeping the diary will really help me keep my eye on the above points, i.e. budget/my food intake.

So if this hasn't bored anyone too much ;) and the board guides think it is a relevant thread, I would really appreciate and enjoy having some of you guys join me on my journey :D

Love and compassion to all x

Ta, I looked at the stuff on the MC website and that pic is frustratingly side on lol, Buggys fold umbrella style, so they concertina up smaller... I just want to see how widethe silvercross is once folded really... Is it much bigger than a buggy etc... I'm going to pop into kiddisave I think and fold them all up... But it's always busy when we go in!
