Mainly would depend on if they took a biopsy I would have thought really... I had one when I was about 8 weeks pregnant I think it was... but they didn't take a biopsy just had a look and said it was such a minor leasion that really it wasn't enough to worry about - probably a viral infection if that... Didn't even want me back after Bean arrives just said to have normal smear 6 months after Bean at my surgery like normal.
I think it's if they remove something the scar tissue can be more likely to tear and even then it might depend on where they took it

I actually did have a biopsy. I think they called it a "punch biopsy" which sounds like they went in with a paper punch, really. ewww Anyway, I suppose I'll just mention it and see what they say. I wouldn't think it would be an issue since I had no problems with DS.

    Hi Ladies!

    Just a quick question...

Has anyone been for a glucose tolerance test? If so, what do they do, and does it really last 2 hours?

I've got to go for one next month, I can't even remember what for now??
This has probably been answered now but round here, we have to drink the lucozade then go to the blood testing place at the hospital, so basically I drank me lucozade then went to the blood testing place, they said that if i get close to the 2hr limit and have not been seen to tell them.
I done it firts thing in the moringin.

My TENS machine has just been delivered! How exciting. We have been told to try it out before B-day (as i'm fullterm now its safe to do so) so cue lots of laughing from hubby and I this evening.

Anyone used them before and have any tips????

I used one, my advice is really get to know the settings, how to work it and pratice putting it on beforehand, then put it on early in labour as it builds up your endorphins :-) I use one when I get back pain (my muscles are broken) so we can get the pads on past which was good!

Oh and put the neck strap on before you go into labour so don't end up fiddling and shouting at your dh like I did :o

I had a colposcopy about 2 years ago and nobody has mentioned me having to have a stitch put in?!

Feelie, good luck with the powder for the GTT, tastes rank!_pale_I spent 3 hours waiting to see it again when I had the first GTT but the midwife told me our hospital have changed it to lucozade now as the result is the same apparently... Can't stand lucozade but it's gotta be better than the powder!
heaps better, although not overly nice first thing in the morning in early pregnancy _pale_
