Tine - I get that! its mild spd I find it helps to get on all fours occasionally and do a few yoga moves, I think they are called something like stretching cat n downward dog. I bet skinty would kno if she wasn't at work

EDIT: AF yep got ur pm and ur in :D I'll have a peek now but obv you won't have it for 2mo :P

caz - rest up a little. I exhausted myself over the weekend cleaning and doing housey jobs and all the while hubby kept saying, 'why don't you stop now' and I just didn't listen. Now I'm on the sofa, exhausted and wish I'd listened to him - and I don't already have a littel tribe to look after!

  • Hello ladies!

I can't remember if I told you lot already - but I had my first physio appointment last week. It was really informative, I was in there for an hour and she went through all the do's and dont's of pregnancy (I am so glad DH came in with me, otherwise I wouldn't have remembered half of it!:o )

I go back in a month to see how I'm getting on. I was quite keen to try Aquanatal classes at the local leisure centre, but she didn't think it was a good idea for me, so suggested the hospital run classes instead in the hydrotherapy pool as these are more "low" impact and quite gentle.

I have bought more maternity stuff in the sales, mostly in Next, Mamas and papas etc. and lots of Xmas outfits for baby for next year (I think they will have a different outfit everyday of advent at this rate!:rotfl: ) I have packed them away with the Xmas decorations, so will have a nice surprise finding them next year when I have forgotton all about them. I also got them a Halloween Tshirt for next year as well - I know I am sad :o .

So to make myself feel better about buying so much stuff, I am Ebaying everything thats not nailed down here! I had so many clothes, still with tags on that would just be sat here until after pregnancy, I decided to sell them. I have had loads of interest, I have never sold clothes on ebay before, but loads of bids, questions and watchers and there are still 6 days left to run .

SeptemberBaby :A , thank you for your birthing story and well done on your beautiful boy, you are amazing going through all that and I too am hoping you stick around to give us first timers more of your advice.

And congratulations for all the BFP's  , there are so many - it must this cold weather ;)

Well after that mammoth post, I had better go and do some housework!

OMG I swear the ITV website is written by chimps
"Yes, it appears that Ellery is much more concerned about the frills than the spills!"
    They mean Thrills!
Sorry I had to vent that somewhere it does my head in, last year when garath gates performed to "wake me up, before september comes" by greenday the website said he performed to Wham's "wake me up" :rotfl: couldn't have mixed up 2 more different songs

  • Caz - I don't do hoovering but I'm a dab hand with a duster if that's any good for you?

I can also do cleaning and tidying of kitchen cupboards, it's my speciality! My friends say that I will do it anyway so they might as well just leave me to it :rotfl: surely I can't be the only person in the world who likes their tins in the right order???

Molly - I keep remembering snippets of what the physio told me - my hubby waited outside. Although to be honest as I stood with my trousers rolled up to the knees and down to the hips and my top ruffled around my boobage I was quite glad that he couldn't see me to take the pee! Did you get a support belt?

MrsT - get your MW to refer you to the physio. And whilst I think about it did you try the gaviscon??

    Afternoon all!

It's funny seeing all you Nicknames start developing into real names and people pictures on Facebook! Great idea Sammi Bee!

Anyone thinking of going for a 4d scan? I am 21 weeks at mo and would like to get a 4d scan done of the twins around week 26 - anyone got any experiences of them?

AF: this is the gadget she got me but the site is too confusing! I assumed she'd got it of ebay but had a look and she's not had any recent feedback and nothing came up when I searched for nds tt card either
I'll still ask her about it for you, is ur OH into games n stuff (if he isn't he must be the only one LOL) maybe he would understand if you don't

EDIT: might help if I put the link in! http://www.ndstt.com/product.html

MFD: that's why I'm soo glad my sister is a physio :D

Mine was fantastic but it took 2 attempts to get it (the little b00ger wouldn't play ball the first time).

They rely on having lots of fluid around the baby to create the image. You have 2 babies so less fluid to go around (I guess) so the sooner the better. Especially because if you do need to go again (there was no extra charge for me, they must build it into the prices) then you will be on a pretty short timescale.

The only thing I would say is if you are dead set on not knowing the sexes and having a surprise I know a couple who came out of their scan really disappointed because they had seen that it was a boy.
