Well i know docs are not bothered about seeing you to confirm pg but i had to go in today to book my ds in for his boosters and mentioned i was pg and hoped they would give me a date and book me in with a midwife but she said we are far to busy and short staffed this week come back next week! I went inbetween the morning and afternoon session as well so they would have time. They offically close for apts for a couple of hours as they are open till later in the evenings now but stay open for anyone that needs to pop in for any reason so they had time in my eyes but hey ho, i just was so excited and wanted to get everthing rolling. I'm sure she could have got me my pg pack.

Ikkle: MFD has had a 4d scan this preg and Caz has had one previously, if you look on babybond, they are one of the nationwide companies so might be a good starting point. most companies have pics n vids for you to look at to see what you will get.
I personally am having a scan at around 30wks but a 2d one coz I want bubba's face to be a surprise and if you see the before n after pics on the sites you'll see that they look exactly like the scan.

I think they DO mean frills as he then goes on to say how he's not looking forward to the costumes

My 'baby brain' seems to have started now and I'm getting lots of things wrong when I'm normally so picky about certain things. It's annoying the hell out of me, I'm even insisting things are wrong when they are right, which is probably what happened to you Sami!!
hmm maybe, I suppose I could be wrong :o
no excuse for all their other mistakes tho :p they also wrongly reported the name of Katie n Peter's daughter as many did but considering she's under ITV contract they could have checked! LOL

  • Well, I had good intentions about doing some housework, but I find myself sat at the laptop again  . I have only made the bed, emptied the dishwasher and made turkey burgers for tea and I'm knackered! DH has started a serious diet today, so I have to start making "proper" meals again, apart from Xmas dinner I have hardly cooked a full meal for the last 2 weeks. It's been lots of snacking, buffets, junk food, takeaways etc. I am actually glad to be having healthy foods again. We went out for a meal last week - and DH nearly choked when i asked the waiter to replace my chips with a double helping of salad.

MFD: my OH reckons hes some sort of expert now having witnessed one whole birth :rotfl: I'll be taking him to ante natal classes regardless (providing work don't send him off to the other side of the country)
My first few classes are in feb :j I'm sooo excited

Anyone know if you still get 10% off mothercare purchase when you sign up for the pink card at the time? I'm thinking I could get another as mine is still in maiden name at mum's address

I would be interested in finding out about this too!

Talking of Mothercare, has anyone done a gift list from them? - is it worth doing? And is it easy to set up? Some people have asked if I am going to do one, but wondered if it was "the done thing" - it seems a little presumptious to say to people "I'm preggers - here's a list of what I would like!":rotfl:

I've never used a gift list service for anywhere, but I'm not sure its worth it, all depends on if you want all the parts of a matching set or not
