I cannot beleive you gave birth naturally, he is soooooooooooooooooooooo big! I'm dreading it!
My neighbour had her 20 week scan the other day, she's having twin girls and they both measured 1lb (well she was 22 weeks at time of scan) sonographer said if she was allowed to go full term they would probably be 9lb each :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

I've been banished from our house! OH has developed man flu plus a dodgy stomach so he's told me to go to my parent's house for the night. I don't really want to leave him on his own but then I don't want to share a bed with him tonight either!
We haven't really discussed "the next one". I'll be going back on the mini-pill - was on it for four years before coming off it and getting pregnant within six weeks last time. I think it'll come down to money with us - depends if OH gets a better paid job or until we get a huge chuck of his debt paid off.
Thankyou for all the info on slim girls having c-sections. My friend was very insistant on me finding out about them but obviously she sensed my irritation from the tone of my voice cos she apologised for being so forthright earlier today. Like I said, I'm not keen and I'd rather do it naturally if I can.
Oh Elle, forgot to say, my friend is a small size 6 (very slender girl) she has had two babies naturally both weighing over 7lb and no problems:T....she also was back in her size 6's by 2-3 weeks after giving birth.
I was also meant to say when I came on before thanks about the nudge to phone about my painful pelvis...I didn't phone anyone though:o and it mainly just feels bruised now, but I am taking it easy and will see how I am next week.
I got a letter from the hospital today, my 28wk blood tests came back as anaemic so I have taken the letter to the docs as it said to. The only problem is they hadn't written on what the haemo(glob?????) result actually was, so no-one has any idea of how many iron tabs to prescribe me?? I have to wait until Friday - when the docs will phone the hosp to find out, and then I probably won't get a script till Monday.....
Does anyone know if being anaemic affects plans for a home-birth?

Astonsmummy we'll be havign a fun New Years here too... DH is playing on the 360 and genrally doing his best to convince me he's dying and can't possibly fetch anything or do anything... I'm struggling as baby has decided to move round enough that she's getting in the way when I try to get up from a chair etc... GAAAAH
So in a minute I'll be making lentil soup as he can't possibly eat anything but soup and only home made will be good enough (me thinks me has spoilt him a tad on the soup front....). If I can be bothered I might even dig out the bread maker and make home made bread to go with it...
Then later we'll crack open a bottle of bubbly and add a dash of HM sloegin to a champagne glass before topping up with sparkly and that's us. Our treat for later is mozerella fingers from Costsco - no idea what they'll be like but they're easy and I bet you sore throat or not he'll still wolf down twice as many as me because they'll be nice *sigh* MENDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! OMG I'm so pished off, gonna be spending NYE on me jack tonight, Dan has decided he's staying at his Mums, he blew me out most of Xmas day to go over there too
I'm assuming Dan is your OH. You poor thing. We had 2 years of counselling during which she asked my OH if he was a man or a boy and told him to decide who was more important, me or her. We moved 30 miles away, off the bus route.;) :rotfl:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

I dont get it, she's a biatch, she told him to make get get rid of the baby when we found out and said I have trapped him, er he was the one who told me not to go on the pill
They all do me head in, so 2 faced yet if he askes her to do things most of the time she says no, like giving him a lift hom today.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really upset, have had a cry, my mum phoned and said she was gonna cancel her going out to come and sit with me bless her, I said no, it's the first NYE she's not had my DS plus she never goes out.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
AM- Sorry your still not getting through to him, I can't believe he is not going to spend NYE with you and his soon to be born son.
Tine - enjoy your drink....Home-made soup sounds lovely too.
I have got DH faffing around with speakers AGAIN!!! It is getting right on my nerves now. It started off with a set that included everything, then new speakers costing over £300, and wire costing £100...that meant 3 days of fiddling....now he has just bought a new av amp for £300 3 days ago, he has been fiddling with that ever since....he has now decided that as it does 7.1 surround he is going to use the big floor standing speakers aswell, so has diconnected everything again and is fiddling again.....as you can see i am getting fed up with it. I will probably just go to bed and leave him to it!!!

I'd sit with you but although I have no idea where Chatsworth is it's nowhere near here, in fact it looks like nobody is near here. I'll send hugs instead.
My MIL was disappointed with us, that was her wording not mine. We have been together nearly 7 years and have a 5yr old but because we are not married and I have had relationships before she said she doesn't really see me as permenant, Whatever!
He's just got off the phone to her now, rang to tell her about the new tv. Always checks for approval, shame it will be months before she gets to see it, Ha!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
SB - He is such a cutie
I'm sure that Poppy is very pleased with her new baby brother
Just popped in and about to run away again as I see your all talking about contraception after the birth -
Don't think I've had *ahem* for about 6 months at least and I was telling hubby just yesterday that it'll be at least another 6 till he can get anywhere near me after the birthI can't imagine anyone being there ever again  please tell me this is normal?!
Feely - I'm counting the days with you - only 25 to goI'm getting excited
