Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Wow searching! I started off a 22-24 so I think limiting myself to 1 is probably a good idea lol....

Just weighed myself, weight gain so far is about 7lbs, so I think the consultant is going to shout at me when I see her next! Can't be good to be this worried about gaining weight. I shall have to start dieting again.

  • FG, sod the consultant! Really, they annoy the life out of me, holier than thou, know the best for everyone scaremongering peices of wotsit! I've gained 7lb so far and I don't think that's too bad, we have just had christmas... It's unrealistic to expect you to increase your blood volume, grow a small person and carry a load of fluid around inside you without gaining some weight!

And it's not healthy to diet whilst pregnant, even weight watchers don't weigh pregnant women after a certain time!

Don't worry too much feeling... I got weighed today and I've gone up 3.6kg... I could cry... *sigh*
Healthy grub only from now on... apart from maybe the rest of that lemon drizzle cake in the kitchen... and a pizza now and then... and a McD...
Edited to say I don't actually have any intention of trying to loose weight... just that maybe I overindulged a little over christmas! :D

I hadn't really thought about it yet but a friend seemed very keen to know earlier and was asking me.. does anyone know of anyone who's actually had a c-section because of being too slim (hip-wise I assume) to give birth naturally?

Can't say I'm that keen - it's the cutting of my skin and not driving for weeks afterward that get me! I'm all for giving it a bash naturally, but then again I don't fancy any of this "getting stuck halfway out" business either!

I am being monitored for this very reason i'm not that keen on c section either but i would rather that than to run into complications I will just have to see how big my baby gets:cool:

Can I ask, at what point did they start discussing it with you?

just think about all that weight you will loose being up and down all night pacing the floor with baby, all the walks with the new pram to show baby off to everyone even strangers you dont know lol! and also all the times you sit down to eat and baby starts crying and you give up on your dinners and snack on fruit as it tastes good cold :D i was size 8/10 when i had my first biggest i have been(am) is 16/18 and hoping to get back down to 12/14 although TBH i know that as long as kids and OH are happy then i am! when i dieted up until i fell preg i was happy the weight was coming off but i was also misrable that i couldnt eat that little bit of something naughty? hence the take away i have just ate and the box of roses that are shouting on me:D
What's for you won't go past you
