Mel call the quacks and get them to have a look at you - they are open today as normal but tomorrow they will all be shut again :(
Better to get them to have a look than waiting and worrying and being in pain :)

I did consider phoning midwife, but after reading around the net and loads of stories of babies dropping in at around 30wks I decided not to bother.

Also I have read that with subsequent pregnancies babies can pop in and out. Has anybody on here ever had that before......I never even felt my last two engage at all.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Mel - I would definately get yourself checked out by the midwife if only to put your mind at rest.

Morning, enjoying sitting in bed now OH tells he's actually reserved our new telly at the panasonic shop. (the shop he stood in for 30 mins on tues) and he wants us to get it today. Oh effort! He's excited but all shops are 45 minutes drive away 'cos we live in the country. Twice in one week is too much stress. Why don't guys get it!

kurjam, sounds like a homebirth is the only way for you. You've no chance of even getting into the car before you give birth.:rotfl:

SB, nope unfortunatly. The shop are one of the best prices around espesially with the 5yr guarantee. My fault as I only wanted the one with Freesat. Just debating getting out from under the duvet!
