oh AM is it not great when someone else feels it! does it not make it feel so much more real:D i can remember saying to OH oh feel and then nothing! now he tells me to roll over as he is being kicked in the back all night lol!

jvic, I ended up in A&E with spotting on a Sunday afternoon, they just made an appointment for me at the EPAU for the next week. It's very rare for them to scan at the weekend unless they admit you onto a ward.

I've had a wonderful christmas with my little family, Aimee has far more presents than she needs but she loves them all and they are strewn about my living room... We popped to town today, didn't buy much, took a couple of things back... Got baby so really cute minature crocs from mothercare for £1.80! and had a look round kiddisave at the nursery things. They have the high chair I want for £20 cheaper than anywhere else but there's no rush for that... Then we went to pizza hut for tea but it was pretty apalling, service was pretty much non existant and Aimee's potato wedges turned up green, she doesn't eat them anyway and only wanted the salad but it was on principle I asked them to take off the cost of the kids meal she couldn't eat which they did...

Just ended up in tesco after visiting my Dad, it was really quiet, I spent over £100 oops! although £30 of that was wine for my mum plus got my dad some mags and warm socks I was gutted they didn't have my size in the very cosy fur lined hoodies, knew I should have bought another colour when I got mine :rolleyes:
I got tempted by some party food - why do things taste better in miniature?
Then got home for my lamb stew that had been in the oven for about 5hrs!! twas yummy!
Earlier my friend came round with her girls (20mths and 3mths) Chris was very good with sharing with them except when we put baby in his chair (which he hardly ever sits in theses days :rolleyes:) but he was ok when he saw how much she enjoyed it he also gave her some hugs n kisses and tried to give her her bottle, how sweet :A makes me feel better about how he'll be when bump comes. her tot was very pleased with the snazzy selection of hair clips n bobbles i got her for Chrimbo

Jvic, are you home from hospital yet?

I didnt get dressed at all today. Fell asleep at half four and by the time I woke up at half seven I decided there wasn't much point. I feel so much worse for the nap though, sick and achey Keep eating but it doesn't seem to be making any difference. OH suggested I should get up and do some housework.. I wasn't impressed!

there are mumbles of him coming home on monday but I'm not getting my hopes up just in case, he does seem much better. He even had some turkey curry my mum took in for him he's got a big day tomorrow as friends are coming all the way from Sheffield just to see him and we've kept it a secret form him :j

Morning girls, I feel absolutely terrible today, I can't remember the last night I had a full nights sleep, I'm prone to a bit of insomnia anyway but this is driving me mad, I'm so tired and I just can't stay asleep! and on top of that OH had given me his cold, I'm achy and sore, and my throat and sinuses are killing me, and we've got to go visit family on the other side of London today!

Sami: I hope your dad manages to come out on Monday, glad to hear he's looking better! It sounds like Chris will be a dream when the new baby's here, he sounds like such a sweetie!

SallyCinnamon - 14th December (11 days early) at 07:19 by emergency CS. Sophie Louise weighed in at 8lb 6oz and her mum & dad very grateful she wanted to come out early as the EDD was xmas day!

PROBABLY GIVEN BIRTH BUT TOO WORN OUT TO LOG ON LIST
Usually allow 2 weeks after EDD before transferring to this list...

sorry Jvic, just caught your post. no they didnt scan at a weekend, they made an appt for the Monday morning. I really hope everything is okay. I know how worrying it can be.

Elle...be careful with those candles, not sure if it baby brain or not but my OH lit candles around the bath for me on xmas night...trying to be really romantic and I set my hair alight!!!

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all so much for your words of support last night and this morning. I turned up for my appointment last night and they were only 20 mins behind to be fair but they didn't really do anything. He said not to worry about the spotting as it was a very small amount and no pain associated with it. He checked my blood pressure and had a little chat with me about exercise. He thinks that doing 30 mins walking to work may be overexerting myself a little and this can sometimes bring on spotting. Makes a change someone telling me to take it easier. Also to maybe take a pure vitamin D Suppliment. He said I shouldn't worry about it and he's sure everything will be ok. I wish I could have something more concrete but I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers for the scan Feb 2nd.
