Does anyone know if any of the big retail park type of Boots stock their nursery ranges in store, or are they all just mail order? I've only just realised they do nursery stuff but the photos are all just a bit close up for me and I want to see the whole range in one place to decide if I like it (does that make sense?!).

Oh...swipe that. I just checked online and the EPU clinic is Mon - Fri 8-4. Might just go along to the hospital and see what they say. Probably a waste of time but I worry.
Call the maternity unit at your hospital :) they will be open 24/7 so someone should be able to answer you :)
It may be that there won't be any scan people available apart from oncall emergencies so they may more than likely not be willing to do a scan till monday anyway...

  • The bigger boots do stuff in store - I've been to one that does anyway. It might be worth looking up the number of the one you're planning to go to, and checking with them?

Jvic...I would call the hospital...Its probably nothing but best to get it checked out.

I have bled on and off since about 6 weeks....I have my 12 week scan on Tuesday so fingers crossed but I had two so far, one at 6 weeks and one at 8 and it was fine them....

    Good luck x

  • Hello everyone:D glad to hear you all had lovely christmasses. Jvic - try calling NHS Direct if you haven't got any other numbers. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

We had the most relaxing Christmas day as planned - it was just the two of us for the last time this year so we stayed in bed late, had a lazy breakfast then opened our presents, then spent 2 1/2 hours in the bath! Dinner was chicken en croute and shop bought potatoes (very lazy for me - I always cook from scratch) and we then spent the rest of the day cuddled up with a box of chocs - heavenly!

We then had our 'Christmas' yesterday - DSS came in the morning to open his gifts from Santa and from us...we surprised him with a bike on the patio after he thought he had opened eveything - asking him to go and put the rubbish in the bin outside. I managed to catch his reaction on the video camera and he was so exited and grateful that he had us both in tears!

A massive christmas dinner and a visit from BIL and SIL and their 2 kids yesterday afternoon/evening (complete with Rock Band on the Wii!) and I was absolutely shattered. Today has been a lazy day resting up because we are preparing tomorrow to do it all again on Monday with my family :D

Hoping little Jamie is here by now.

    Hugs to all

Thanks Angela, Did you go the hospital on the weekends. Were they willing to do the scans straight away? I'm just concerned with them fobbing me off.

i like having the candles burning and they seem to scent the whole house rather than just the room they are in:D yankee can be expensive though but the tarts arent that expensive and i could buy lots of different scents:D

jvic a lot of people have had spottng and for a lot of people it seems normal. i would give the hosp a phone and they might fit you in first thing on mon, that may help put your mind at rest?

i have a foot sticking right out my right hand side just under my ribs at the mo i keep pushing it in and she pushes it out again! its not very comfortable lol!!

    Is she ticklish Caz?

I have had a diagonal bump for most of christmas! Bubba seems to be finding it most comfortable to stick his bum out at the top of one side and his head out at the bottom of the other side! Was getting DSS to have a feel and he thinks it is all a bit freaky!!

Bubba was kicking in time to the music last night!
