Morning,
elle_gee I have seen some nice bits in H&M, Next and my nearest Pumpkin Patch had a very small section.
I have left shopping for baby things until after xmas and now realise I have to start looking for things such as pram, cot, nursery things! Hoping to get some bargains in the sales, does anyone know the best time to buy? Is it best to leave it til the end of Jan when things may be reduced more?
Have another scan on Monday (28 wks) as baby has measured up small on growth charts, hoping all is well - now im thinking if i should be buying tiny baby things or newborn?
Sorry to ramble everyone, I seem to do it an awful lot, maybe a NY resoultion!:j :j :j:A0 -
Morning everyone....Glad everyone had a lovely xmas. I did too. A very relaxed affair....
Elle...I bought a pair of maternity trousers in mamas and papas sale. My normal work trousers are all too tight but the maternity ones too big at the monute. Im stuck in between. Finding my clothes quite uncomfortable.
Im in my pj's most of the time...well at least while im in the house.
I wonder how SB is doing?
There seems to be loads of us having scans on Monday and Tuesday. I'll be 13 + 3 when I have mine so hope all goes well. A bit nervous given my age as im having the nuchal fold tested at the same time xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
i buy a lot online or from new look, i buy the trousers with the adjustable waist inside as i feel that the trousers with the big elastic band round the top make me feel trapped??? go and try a few things on before deciding what you like:D
have been up all night again with a stomach full of wind OH was killing himself laughing at the noises it was making, i may add it was all trapped and my stomach is killing me:( think it kept baby awake also as she moved non stop? What's for you won't go past you0 -
Morning everyone,
I have just ordered a few bits from the maternity section in the Next sale - trousers and jeans in particular. There is quite a lot in the £10/£12/£15 price range, from casuals to smart for work. Well worth a look.
xx

Definitely H&M for maternity clothes for me
DH treated me for my birthday and the bits we bought were lovely
Now scouring Fleabay for more as I know my size in their clothes... and be warned you might have to go a size bigger than you are used to
I'm a 14/16 and I have had to go for 18  But they fit well so I will just live with that
DH is emptying dishwasher, having a cuppa and then dismantling our TV... engineers report said cheaper to replace than fix so we're taking it back today and instead of yet ANOTHER Samsung we're going to buy a Sony(Joy of Costco warrenties... you get all the money back you spent and then you go in and pick a brand new TV and you get a full warrenty again - bargain!
Oh and we'll get back about £150 as the prices have come down a lot and the TV is on offer tooheehee!

Hi all, thanks for your suggestions!
Just spent £40 on peacocks website. Only thing in the maternity sale was a pair of jeans, but got two two-packs of maternity vest tops, pair of boots, thermal vest and pair of jogging bottoms.
Have been in the Next queue for 10 mins already.. it's counting down to when I'll get in - 12mins to go!
Caz, have you tried Rennies etc?0 -
Morning everyone!
What a Christmas, unbeleivably, Virgin media cut me off on Xmas morning  didnt manage to get it back on till yesterday afyertnoon.
Xmas day was great, then I had work Xmas night and it was really rubbish, wanted to go and sleep in one of the empty beds lol
Aston got spoiled, but he had great fun.
I had a 'moment' at one point though, he and OH were messing about and he called him Daddy (he's never done it before and we'd prefer it if he didnt tbh) so I told him not to then he started crying and said ''but I want Dan to be my Daddy'' I had to hold the tears back, I mean what am I supposed to say?
He's not mentioned it since xmas night though.
Spent some of yesterday morning in bed, then went to my nans for the traditinal boxing day dinner and it was really good.
Now I'm feeling a bit deflated, well apart from ym bulging stomach!
I have seen so many people who cannot beleive how big I am already and they have all said ''but you haven't put on any weight anywhere else'' dunno if they are lying though, sayign that though I weighed myself the other day and I'm the same as i was at the beggining
24 weeks on Monday :j:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Wasn't SB going to be induced yesterday, or was it another sweep? I can't remember what she said. *crosses fingers*
