  • Is anyone else finding eating a struggle? Not the actual wanting food and eating the right stuff but in terms of actually getting the food from a plate into your mouth? :o

I have to eat at the table now (which we did most of the time anyway) but I cannot eat off a tray on my lap and I spill everything down me. My bump is constantly covered in what I have eaten. Is it natures way of getting me ready for being covered in baby sick??

The tea I drink when I have it is English Breakfast I don't like "normal" tea it leaves a bitter after taste IMHO. My sis's OH drinks earl grey so I always have a small box of it but I think its gross! tastes like flowery dish water!

Just got back from my 'rents been feeding n walking my doggies, My daddy is still on the acute admissions ward so they don't like visitors but I'm going up later even if he's not on a proper ward!

  • oh no Sami, I was hoping that it was to do with not being able to get close enough to the table...although I can't manage a sandwich or a yoghurt without spilling those :o

Ah well. Was thinking of trying to convince DH to take me and DSS for a nice meal tonight...maybe we would be better ordering pizza I can chuck it wherever I want :rotfl:

I can recommend Japanese tepenyaki (sp?) they make you wear a bib so perfect for you :D its the one where they cook the food infront of you on a hot plate thing

  • I have the same brand as you Sami - the H&H ones. I can't stand tea, but I like fruit tea :) And coffee. Black with sugar in (or a bit of baileys, but not at the mo, sadly ;) )

We have friends over tonight, but we're going to our local chippy/indian for takeaway - curry and chips. Mmmmmm!

I can see the carpet once more (and wish I couldn't cos it needs replacing!)

Everything is shoved suitably out of sight for now. It made me think how much we need to sort out some serious storage solutions for when baby is here - at the minute I'm just shoving everything into the spare room which will be baby's room in six months time! Can't wait for tomorrow (or maybe later tonight) when I can get all the Christmas presents out and wrapped up then put under our tree for a few days. Couldn't have put them there now - we've got friends with a 9mth old due any minute and his latest thing is commando crawling straight under Christmas trees!

We're having big American style hotdogs for tea. OH currently crying from chopping onions :p

I'm a terrible messy eater too.,,,although can't seem to fit much in the tum at the moment so not really eating big dinners.

Elle - It is nice to see pressies under the tree isn't it? We haven't been able to do that for years now....Father Christmas only brings them on Christmas Eve ;)

FIL popped round before he brought selection boxes wrapped up for the boys and also gave us money to either buy them something off of him, or to give them on the day - £60 EACH!!! They also have a few cards with money in too, I only give the cards with money in on the day.....Three have £20 in and two have £10 in, so they are gonna have £140 Each to spend after Christmas...unbelievable. We have spent a fortune on them too. PSP's with cases, memory cards, 3 x games each. A guitar for Luca, and an electronic globe for Jaden!!!!!!! That was me cutting back this year

Oh well next year the pennies will have to be split 3 ways....

Caz - did you find you do this each year there is an extra one to buy for(stick to same overall budget) or do you still spend the same amount on each child each year, therefore it just gets far more expensive each year???

    Mel x
