DSS chose chinese so we are off out for dinner, I will be getting changed before we go and probably again once we return
Elle -I know what you mean about storage. We use bubbas room for general storage and our wardrobe is in there currently. The good thing about being pregnant is that I won't have to do any of the heavy lifting!!
Take care ladies - labour vibes to SB and hope we hear from Miss C soon!
MFD xxxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Hi everyone..just back from visiting Bruges for the day..tiring but worth it because it's beautiful! We are having sausage and bean stew with mashed potato for tea..fortunately something I prepared earlier and then froze so nothing too hard! The mention of Ferrero Rocher has made me develop a sudden need for those now...:o
I saw the doctor again on Friday...everything seems to be fine and I heard the baby's heartbeat again :T. At first it sounded quite distant but then I think that the little one must have turned because suddenly it was really loud!
Hope all is okay for everyone and that Sami's dad is better soon.:jBaby boy, Hugh, born on the 8th June 2009, weighing 2.5kg:j0 -
wow your boys are gonna have a ball in the sales mel!! we tend to stick to the same amount per child however when they are so little this doesnt count. Charlie hasnt got much but as he plays with abi's toys from when she was his age we would be buying just for the sake of it!
i must admit this year we have cut right back and although some of the presents could be between £20-40 each it doesnt look much but there is still a lot of moneys worth there! have got megan new ds, password journal and lots of HSM, lewis has got motorbike(was OH idea!) all the safety gear, metal detector, wii games, abi was easiest to buy for she has rose petal cottage with kitchen and everything else, keyboard and baby sam doll! Charlie has tomy dome, dinosaur roll and roar and a leappad table. we told them all to pick 3 things they really wanted and they would get them, so really the rest is a little extra! abi is convinced you only get 3 presents so will be great to see her face:DWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Ladies anyone been tested for group B strep?
if you don't know what it is this is the website MW gave me when I asked about it http://www.gbss.org.uk/section.php?section_id=3
I think I'm gonna get tested when its time, MW said they will do the swabs for free if I don't want to do it myself (I think even if its simple I'd get them to do it so I know its done right):j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Sami, really hope your Dad is well enough to come home for christmas. My dad got Meningitis on boxing day last year and spent the new year delerious in hospital, was a very scary time so we're really glad he's here with us this year to celebrate! (Not that we'll see him at christmas, he came round and dropped presents off today so that will probably be it until Feb lol)
We have in laws coming tomorrow so spent half the morning tidying Aimee's room and hoovering upstairs and down... Also had to go to town and buy some trainers for my little lady because I realised yesterday that her converse were too small.... Managed to get some start right ones from brantano half price though with is great... Although Hubby really liked the felicity wishes ones but Aimee thought they were 'too fairyish' and went for the plain ones...
I really need a wee and baby keeps spring boarding off my bladder... Don't think it's keen on the smaller space!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... That's a good idea to get them to pick three things....Only problem is if we did that with ours all Luca really wanted was his own PS3 in his room...at £300 I don't think so!!!
Next year I want to get them Tickets to Disney Paris, they are desperate to go there, so it will be a joint present, although this little-un won't really understand. I was thinking of trying to get a granny to come and act as babysitter as s/he won't be able to go on most of the rides.
I was wondering, I asked about the Boots nappy glitch before, anyone got any ideas as it tries to charge me over 30 quid for them...do I need to be an advantage account holder??

I think you need to register with them and have an advantage card Mel, most people have said it works when they sign in...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
