  • Lots of get well wishes to your Dad, Sami xxx

I had to go downstairs at 4am this morning for Gaviscon! I thought I was over the heartburn but obviously not .

I had it last time with Poppy and she had lots of hair! The consultant told me that when she was still in the womb as they had to take blood sample from her scalp!

I haven't taken raspberry leaf tea as it didn't make one jot of difference last time :rotfl:and it tasted horrid!

Well, today is the date I worked out my EDD to be before the scan and its my Mum's birthday too! :T.

But this blinkin' cold is getting worse and my tummy hurts every time I sneeze (which is lots ).

On the contact lense issue, I thought it was just me. At the start of my pregnancy when I drove long distances one of my eyes would just stream and stream. It felt there was something stuck behind the lense. I must have changed them a good couple of times and they are supposed to last a month. It got to a point where my eye could hardly open and I had to stop driving long distances.

I carry some of those little capsule individual use eye drops in my bag now just in case it starts again.

  • Hello Ladies from MFD's Holiday World :D

I feel like the whole world has just slowed down for me and I can just enjoy being with my family for the next two weeks - fantastic!

For all those who are envious of my 2 week break - that's one of the few perks of working in construction...when you consider that my basic working week is 42 hours and it is not unusual for me to do 60+ hour weeks then it's not really worth it in the end  God only knows how I am going to cope when bubba arrives and I go back to work.

Sparkle - I wear contacts and have had a bit of dry-eye but mostly I have been fine. Can you pop to the opticians for a check up?

Sami - hope your dad is okay.

I am sure I had more to say but hey-ho!!

Just doing a quick tidy up of the list. Changed by EDD and updated the 'probably given birth' list.

 NO - don't tidy the list - it moves me up higher and that scares me!!

I'm sure it wasn't 'that' long ago i was adding myself to the bottom.

Back to the heartburn - i didn't have it with DS or DD, although DD was born quite hairy. Not a lot on her head, but hairy ears and a line of fine black hair going down her back!!! Its still there now (she's 8) and would probably be self consious if she could see it!

Just had my first cup of raspberry leaf tea - and it wasn't half as bad as I was expecting.

Sami, really sorry, knew there was something else I had to say! Hope your Dad is better soon and out for Christmas! *hugs*
  • Sparkle, I wear contacts too but have to take them out when I'm in the house as they do irritate me a little. I gave birth to Poppy in them  as I nor no one else thought to mention it during the 24hrs I was labouring!.

3onitsway, I had lots of heart burn and Chris is hairy but I always knew he would be coz his daddy and granddad are so it runs in the family, he also has his dads big head (as in actually big not confident "big head") the poor thing at least he also got daddy's cute button nose and big smile! - My nose is quite big :( and I don't really smile coz my smile doesn't make a nice D shape like this :D its more of a sausage  - I'm such a moose :rotfl:

Ps I love raspberry leaf tea i think its yummy :D Mine is made by heath & heather so I recommend that brand

    Hi all!
I never really get heartburn it's great!
I've been scanned at 3 hospitals and none of them required me to have a full bladder.
I'm sooooooooooo tired still, went to sleep about 8.30pm last night but Dan had a really restless night so didnt sleep very well, it was like sleeping next to a radiator.
He's still not 100% now but went back into town with his little brother this mornign, I've got to go and get him at 3pm, go back into town and get Aston's last present and some more decs, oh and try to find them both a stocking each!
He gave notice in his palce last week to will be moving in properly in 3 weeks!
We have been getting on so well lately and I'm so happy, it's like the honeymoon period we never had LOL
I have a new craving hehe Forrero Rochets  I ave bought and ate 2 boxes since Thursday, and am now on my 3rd!
I just wish they done em without the nut in the middle as I'm not really a nutty person :rotfl:
