Hi FG,
I did think that, but today is the first time I have had them (which is still possbile that it is BH), but it just 'felt' stress related if that makes any sense.
Just need to get through today and have a relaxing night with the soaps and my hypnobirthing book (if i can stay awake to read it).

Candice, with my first I didn't feel anything until about 22weeks... This time I can feel it loads, mostly rolling over (which feels like your stomach is turning, its such a wierd feeling) and just the past few days more defined kicks. The only reason I've been feeling it is because I know what it feels like... I think I probably missed loads of kicks from Aimee before I figured out what it was.... Also this one is a lot more active than I remember the first time round... I think I just had a lazy baby the first time
My favourite line when Aimee starts playing up is 'Erm, excuse me?!' Stops her in her tracks every time... Molly, with regards to your friend, without knowing the full story it's hard to guess but I would be investigating if everything is OK at school... And also how the parents react to the tantrums... Aimee loves school and I never have a problem getting her there but sometimes if we have to walk home and she was up early she gets over tired, hungry and generally miserable and might play me up... Once she's had some wind down time and something to eat she's a lot better...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Candice - when you first feel baby move it is like when you have a spot of food poisoning and your bowels/stomach take on a life of their own (hope you know what I am talking about!)
The books etc talk about 'bubbles' and 'popping' and all kinds of nice images...it's only because they are too polite
AF describes 'spinning' - you get that a lot too but maybe not at first. Proper kicks are much later.
And the best thing that anyone ever told me was that when you feel it at first, you might not feel it again for ages - I mean it can be DAYS! or even a week. I would have panicked if my friend hadn't told me this...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

He's a fair bit older (8) but my favourite is 'don't even think about it mate' when DSS starts. It usually worksbut having said that he is a good kid so I don't need it that often!

I've only ever had one 'spinning' tip thing. Only ever been kicks. Its just like he is lying there on his back, head on my bladder, kicking and kicking and kicking! He kicks the doppler when they check the heart beat. At first I thought the kicks were just gas or something, but they feel the same now, only stronger. Or maybe I just have really bad gas.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Bubba pushes against the band of my trousers! In my head he is still quite tiny but he is actually 46cm or so now...which is nearly full baby size
AF - does it help if I tell you I should be at home now but I have 2 companies wanting dispute resolution this afternoon  I feel like just shouting 'It's bl00dy christmas you idiots - season of peace and goodwill to all pregnant women...b00ger off and leave me and bubba alone'

Thanks for that, I was wondering if there was perhaps problems at school, she seems popular with the other children and is very bright. However, my husband thinks it is because of the parents, their parenting style is quite different to our ideas - the dad in particular gives in to the children a lot, spoiling them with whatever they want, and the child acts up a lot worse when her dad isn't there. I was just worried that I have 7+ years of tantrums to look forward too - I don't think I would put up with that tbh!Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

I think parenting styles have pretty much everything to do with it... We're shaping them and their behaviour now and from watching the way other people and their children are I'm really glad with how Aimee's turning out. I know that if something is too much for her to cope with it means she needs an early night or something to eat, these are the main times she plays up... She rarely plays me up to get her own way because she knows if Mummy has said no then it means no, it doesn't mean 'whinge for 10mins and I'll give in' like some children of a friend of mine...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
