I think that tax credit thing might apply to my mum also, as I have 2 younger sisters that fall into the correct time limit. Off to have a look...

  • Be careful candice - not the time of year to end up laid-up in bed because you overdid it...;) :D

Ladies- in general cravings are for things that your body is deficient in aren't they??

I have been craving really salty things on and off for a while now. I am ashamed to admit it but I have just added extra salt to my McDonalds fries :o

Is my body trying to tell me something  do I need to worry?

  • I always thought thats how cravings worked too but im not sure if it would ever crave salt?? are you drinking too much water?

Im guilty of salting the fries too but I love salt, have always argued that the extra salt helps me retain water which puts my blood pressure up, normally very low bp so no fainting this way...not sure the medical profession would agree thou, lol

Im not cravibng anything just eating all sorts of naughty stuff cos its xmas, what else are you wanting?

OH read the Haynes Baby Manual. My Mum got it for him, and I was doubtful that he'd read it, but he read it cover to cover! A few days later, I was browsing some baby websites, and was looking at a Moses Basket. He got all excited and pointed at it, and proudly told me that he knows what that is and what it is for!

I dreamt I had the baby last night. I dreamt the whole labour! Wasn't too bad, no tearing or stitches and no pain relief. He was 7lb 7oz. But no one showed me how to breastfeed! After I had him, the midwife left and didn't come back. In the end I went home, but couldn't figure out how to get him to latch on. Was a bit sad :( Then columbo was in it, and I found a load of bodies in an attic. More like my usual dreams!
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
  • I dreamed someone crashed into my car, and we were exchanging insurance details - far less interesting.....

Someone lent DH a book call "how to make pregnant women happy". I don't think he read much of it though - if he did he didn't take much of the advice to heart ;) He did tell me off for leaving my phone at the other end of the house this morning - he thinks I should carry it round with me in case I fall over or something, so I can call for help! He probably has a point, but that is what my granny does!
