well I'm prepping for a conf call with a very irate customer (and in my view rightly so) - starting at 1. Bean has had an active half hour and the kicks are getting quite strong! I guess it's turned though as suddenly they are the other side? They used to be on the left looking down but today they are on the right... Hard enough to make me go "ooo!" in surprise when it kicks :) Hopefully once it gets a bit more omph DH will be able to feel it... I know he's really looking forward to that :)
Right... off for my session of torture! YAAAAY! :rotfl:

I often exclaim when he kicks, its a very odd feeling! He still kicks in the same place, he is lazy and I've only ever felt him turn once.

  • I had the bizarrest dream on Monday after our unsuccessful 4d scan. We went to a different place to get another done and at the new clinic they had a special method of getting your baby out for you to play with for an hour...so they got bubba out for me (didn't feel a thing ;) ) and he was SO beautiful, just the most gorgeous baby I have ever seen in my life. We played for an hour (he was sitting up and everything!) and then I had to put him back...and then pack him in with newspaper to keep him warm :D

Thing is, I even remember thinking 'was that real' when I woke up to go to the loo :rotfl:

The baby was beautiful last night. He looked a lot like me as a baby - could fully support his head. But the best thing was, if I tickled him, he laughed! A proper belly laugh, with a huge toothless smile. Aww, it was lovely!

My favourite Taxi Drivers favourite thing when his wife was pregnant was lying in bed 'spooning' and feeling the baby kick his back.

(He is a bit of an odd taxi driver, tells me everything. He described the birth of his daughter in great detail!)

    hi ladies,

popped back quite while i have some lunch.

poor bubs is not happy with me i dont think. he's moving around a lot but i think that's becuase of how i am feeling and i feel terribly guilty that my stress is affecting him.

worst thing is i am working my backside off the other two in the office have swanned off for lunch, one 20 mins early, i wouldn't mind but when i they get back they will be pushing all urgents under my nose.

i have had a bit of a cry but just want to see my hubby and go to bed.

my tummy tightens a bit at times too. think the stress is probably doing that as well.

i know it's my fault for being the way i am, but i've been here since 7.20am so i could get on top of things only for it to feel like i'm getting no where.

sorry for the moan ladies. if i didn't type it out i know i will be in tears all day.

You can ignore a tantrum (and I don't care what the general public think!) but a nearly 5 year old mouthing off and arguing with you is a whole other issue!

Boy isn't this true! I'd be mortified if my little one was rude - but tantrums here and there for a 2 year old? they happen - although luckily very rarely at this point. I always just say "NO is the END of the conversation, not the beginning." They know that once I've said NO the discussion is over.

MFD - I wasn't offended - just thought it was funny - you sounded so horrified by the thought of a yellow bedroom! Ours isn't day-glo yellow though!
