Yeah, the problem is many people are changing to the correct username as given by e7even but it is still not allowing them onto the network. Occasionally, trying the same username multiple times works.dj0586 wrote:why does it take so long to reconfigure modem, from the email, i thought all you would have to do is change your username in the ADSLrunner screen. Mines still of so im in no position to offer advise but am i wrong.
Not great, is it ?
e7even just have not sorted out all these issues yet, ten rpt T E N days after the completion !!0 -
Joing e7even at this particular moment is not a great idea !!MickKnipfler wrote:My worry is not accepting the refund and then they go out of business an I loose all. How likely is that?
They have put some new users onto the *new* @bbuk part of the network which, most of the times is sub-dialup
If you want to risk that, then go ahead, but be sure to pay via cc, but since you are the experts on that on this site, i'm sure i don't need to tell you that

NoNo....
I'm already with them. THe problem (for me) is now fixed (after I paid them a personal visit). However, they have offered me a refund of remailing months if I want to move0 -
Do not de-install anything.laila wrote:does anyone know how i should be using the dial up service? i have the free phone number but im not sure if im putting it in the right place. do i need to uninstall and reinstall the e7broadband disc? please help? and also pls advise how and where i am supposed to try the new broadband user names, i think im doing it correctly but just need to be reassured.
Thanks
Before trying any dialup, change your modem/router setup page to the new logon you were sent by e7even.
Try to connect with that a number of times, if it doesn't work, then try all the others, including your old one.
Then if none work, then have a go at setting up dial up, but more info is needed. Have you tried to contact e7even support ?
Raised a support ticket via their website ?0 -
They have been awfully slow at paying refunds up to now, indeed many are still waiting !!MickKnipfler wrote:NoNo....

I hope you paid via cc !!!
What is your logon ? -reserve.com ? @e7even.com? e7btroadband.com? If so, should be ok.
If if is @bbuk then i would be worried ....0 -

I think I paid by egg card. Is the protection time limited though?0 -
I don't believe so, but you have experts on this site that deal with that sort of thing who can answer retail protection and cc buying, better than i.MickKnipfler wrote:e7broadband.com

AFAIK there is a time limit of 90 days for disputed transactions, but for failure of contractual obligations cases like this, i.e. if a supplier goes bust, there is no time limit - the CC company is jointly liable to fulfil the original contract.0 -
