For anyone who has not seen it, there has been a further post from the e7even_rep over at Adslguide

They appear to have been forced to make this post after another appearance from the *administration* jester.
If it did nothing else, it forced e7 out of the bunker :)

It is possible a couple of people may have received a MAC
If you want a MAC it has been suggested this might help

The best thing to do would be to email tech services and in the subject box put FAO Mike Todd (Accounts). He said that any email headed in that way wouldn't be read by tech services, it will just be sent straight to him.

    Here is the original Link
  • As I now have better Surf speed, download speed, upload speed and gaming speed that ever and better rates in all respects that other Nuria users I am somewhat reluctant, having suffered the worst to move now they've sorted it.
Is it a case of better the devil you know than,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'll have to think on it.

I still have no connection. I tried the FAO Mike Todd option but I just got response from Tech Support assigning me with a support ref number.

I have now written to OFCOM & Watchdog as the sisuation is ridiculous. No connection since 29th December & I can't get my mac & migrate since they are not responding to telephone calls or emails.

If I have no response by next Monday then I'll be calling up my credit card for a refund under Section 75 of the consumer credit law which means the cc company has joint liability for breach of contract but it doesn't look there is much I can do about moving to another provider until E7even give me my freakin mac code as they are tying up my line.
  • I'm back on now - on the e7broadband.com connection. I spent about an hour re-re-reconfiguring the router and the network connection and had all but given up when one of the kids got it to work. I just hope now that my earlier post about no new customers = no income stream = no e7 doesn't prove to be the case for at least another 12 months!

I have just received this email from E7even

As you are aware over the last few weeks we have been undergoing some network changes and restructuring, this has been a difficult time for us as due to unforeseen circumstances some of our changes have run past their scheduled completion dates. At present we do not have a fixed completion date but will have the changes and restructuring complete as soon as possible, we will be providing estimated completion dates to our customers via email as soon as we can.

We understand that some customers have found their broadband connections below the level of which they are used too and would prefer to migrate away from e7broadband until the restructuring is complete. Due to this we have decided to offer any customers that have more than 3-months left to run on their paid subscriptions a refund of all unused time and a MAC code to enable them to move their broadband connection elsewhere. The refund will not be subject to the standard terms and conditions and all unused time from date of your migration away until the end of your paid subscription will be refunded in full.

To take this option simply click on the link below to have your MAC sent to you by email within the next 3 working days and then follow the instructions contained in the email. Depending on the volume of MAC codes requested this may take longer.

Looks like they ae trying to get on top of things.

Sorry to disagree with you Nutter, would it were true, but that isn't the case at all

The reality is they have no answers to the @bbuk network problems in the short term and are desperate to ditch a few customers to free up bandwidth.
That is not a good sign, what does it bode for the future ?

    They aren't telling us !!

Also, if too many people leave, they have to refund cash, that could also jeopardize them.

    It's not an ideal situation
  • My worry is not accepting the refund and then they go out of business an I loose all. How likely is that?
