• Thanks Guy-wise.

I was transferred to the bbuk realm. I've also seen that it may be at least another week before we can expect anything.

I have already decided to quit and emailed them this morning. I have also asked my credit card company for the 'dispute' forms to get my refund as I do not expect e7even to reply. (They have steadfastly ignored all mine so far going back over a week.)

Do you mean bbuk ??
Hi Nutter, it's quite simple, what is your login ?

You must know that, because that was added to your router or modem,
and would have been given to you by e7even

Your login will comprise of a username plus an extension (such as e7even.com)

So, for instance, if your username was nutter, then it will be one of these:

nutter@e7even-reserve.com

nutter@e7even.com

nutter@e7broadband.com

nutter-e7even@bbuk

The top two are Ok, the third down is ok when it works, but it seems to be dropping for some people (this may be e7even messing about with logons)

The bottom one (@bbuk) is the worst - it's the pits - Seriously!!!

So, which one are you ?? :)

You are lucky, the -reserve.com login is the best

We thought that login was being reserved for new signups, but it turns out they have put some on the @bbuk, which is a really sneaky trick !

Tell your friend to re-try the old login, and all the others (above).
Try them a number of times because apparently it doesn't always connect first time.
Even though they said e7broadband, it may be one of the others, it has worked for some, so there's nothing to lose by trying

Morning all, Just managed to log on useing -e7even@bbuk took 2 minutes to load first page.
• I didn't know the message had been on the home page before I posted! It wasn't there the day before when I checked the site although I was aware of the updated bits and bobs.. sorry was just trying to be helpful!

I have the broadband.com log in so will try the others, these are helpful tips so thanks to the people who have posted these as options that might work. Up till now I have been tearing my hair, no home internet since Saturday and as a net addict its been really really hard!
I love this site! :j
• I haven't tried the -reserve logins yet, but I've been off for over a week now, so I am thinking of trying to recover my money through the credit card. It seems to me that e7even relies on new users for its income stream, and these will mainly come from referrals, either direct or via media recommendation. After this fiasco there will be few new users, therefore no income and soon no e7even. So here is a good example of a money-saving truism - cheap ain't always best.

• Had a reply to my service ticket today saying it may take another week to sort out the problems. If I'm not happy to wait they are offering a MAC code to migrate to another supplier together with a refund for all time unused and no penalty charges.

That may be the best offer you've had from E7 for a while. The way they are performing, there is no guarantee that things will be fine in a week (after all, this is what they said last week, and the week before that etc). At least if you take the MAC, you wont be penalised financially.
