Piq what a day - your exexex? not sure of the ex's sounds a bit like my exexexexexexex - I forget the times we have or havent' been together - we are officially very EX at the moment - seemingly I am too clingly - Imagine saying of course I don't mind if you work in Antarctica for 2.5 years - seemingly that makes you a clingly female. After he went away hugs and kisses galore, um he decided, um actually that he didnt think he could take the responsibility of being in a relationship (ie talk to me I guess what else is he going to do from the land of the penguins????)
I do think we don't speak the same language. Well we speak and then they respond um - 2-3 months later ? Old cynic here ..............truely however hope it works out for you.
As for me now - I am back with my ex-only once over this one. (dropped this one for the exexexexexexex one) and thankfully when I saw the error of my ways (or was turfed out) he was kind enough to tell me I was silly and take me back.
And he does love my stripey socks so he can't be that bad.
Chin up my lovely - things happen for the strangest reasons. xxxxxxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I've been censored before, do get a bit carried away sometimes - hey, but I rarely swear online
Wish there was an opt out clause on relationships, but I seem to be stuck with this one for the moment. I told the Captain all about it last night and his response?...... to loudly pass wind! Sums it all up I think!:rotfl:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Nice! My OH hardly ever farts but last night we were in bed and it honestly smelled like warm sick! He only told me because I scrunched up my face and he knew I knew!! It was horrible!! I'm not used to his farting, but when he does its truly disgusting!
I was really stressed night before last and told OH I didn't want to be with him and he just sighed because he knew I didn't mean it lol, its weird because I know a lot of people would have broken up with all that we have been through but we just, kind of, well haven't!!
we're a strange couple lol xxx0 -
Hi Piq,
I have just read your thread from start to finish and I intend to subscribe as soon as I finish this post, never have I laughed out loud quite so much from reading a diary (which in itself is quite embarrassing as Im at work and my work really shouldn't be funny).
So thank you for making me smile, I feel quite down at the moment, fed up being broke and my OH is away again (He's in the army)....
I agree with the others about exex (I too am a hopeless romantic) and Im sure it all happens for a reason, my only advice (for what its worth) is to protect yourself make sure you get what you need from him and be happy, life really is too short for anything else

Aarrgg disaster!!
I'm hard at work, you can tell, can't you?? Thought I'd better make a pot of coffee as I haven't taken my turn for ages. Filled the conical bit with ground coffee, put the water in and switched it on. Then watched out the window at the men in hard hats with wheelbarrow and wondered when it was that the wolf-whistles stopped...was it 1988 or 1989? Listened to the sound of liquid pouring onto the floor...
I must have stood for a full five seconds before my brain took in what my eyes could see! I hadn't put the jug under the nozzle  There is coffee everywhere, I did try to clear it up, but I'm not allowed my own mop here. I've had to 'fess up to Premises and a lovely lady is currently cleaning up after me
I have been excused the tea round this afternoon as I am a danger to myself, it has been suggested that I might like to buy the biscuits and I rather think I should. Shortbread anyone?
Will post my proper post in a while, once I've got over the shock!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

The diary update:
I've done the meal plan and shopping list for next week, I'd like to keep this going if I can. I've prepared a list of meals and just drag them across to a fresh page and abracadabra I have a menu!
Paid across £2.09 to the A&L card, still being careful about overpaying and I still have to pay the £136.50 for building insurance that I put on the other card. So far, I'm on track to do this.
The £20.00 I withdrew from my winnings on the scratchcards hasn't arrived yet, not a problem as it's free money and I've got £21.40 on a survey site, only problem is they pay out at £40.00 so I'll be answering mundanely daft questions for quite a while yet.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Not a good day moneywise I'm afraid. The Captain has ensured that I will have a fairly steep vets bill winging it's way to me.
He went out on the razzle last night and instead of his normal horse equivalent of a pint, bag of crisps and a snooze on the muck-heap; went the full horse equivalent of eight pints, a kebab and a punch up
He got out of his stable again!! and has either had an argument with another horse or banged his head while he was exploring the machinery barn (in complete darkness ) His eye, ear and mouth are all badly swollen and he's feeling very sorry for himself - so he should....he looks a bit like a donkey with his wonky ear
I was so worried about him, there was nothing feisty or opinionated about him today, I had to call the vet out. So the bill will include pain killers, anti-inflamatories and eye drops, plus the huge call out charge. I'm still frozen through, despite a hot bath, think I might have an early dinner to see if that helps.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
