    Indeed Dragon - I cannot understand why they charge such enormous interest rates, wouldn't they stand more chance of people being able to pay back their debts if a reasonable rate was charged?

    Sometimes the despair you read in peoples' threads is heartbreaking, and the refusal of these large banks to make any sort of compromise is difficult to understand.

    I will clear my debt to them as soon as I can, and by way of protest will put it 10p or so in credit so they have to raise a statement each month. That will cost them a lot more than the loss of 10p to me.
