Yep that makes sense, it's quite a good idea actually! I'm trying a new system this month, I get around £1580 in wages each month, and have a £1500 overdraft which is 0%. So when the wages go in I am very maginally in credit. Usually all payments from quidco, MS, ebay etc get transfered immediately into my ISA, however this month I am trying to keep my account as close to £0 as possible, meaning on payday I can transfer £1500 over, and start again! Doing it this way to try to stay on track for the £20k in 2009 challenge, but basically means I need to live off my extra earnings. So far it's going okay, and I'm about halfway to the next payday.

I suppose it could have been an alpaca, didn't get time to study it! Hope it wasn't yours! The Captain's not keen on cows either, wonder if it's because he has similar colouring, do manage to get him past them without taking off though!

All flashlights turned towards the heap and there he was, flat out having a snooze in the sh*t. He finally deigned to rise, walked over, shook himself, covering exex and me in rancid ammonia scented straw and sh*t.
Somewhat surprisingly the date ended with a very grumpy exex driving me home in his posh leather seated BMW, now fragrant with muckheap

So there we are galloping as fast as he can on the circular track through the forest. I couldn’t get him to stop at all and to my horror saw a lady walking her dog in front of us! The Captain knows we always stop for walkers, so he did! Once again I was nearly over his head, I shouted “llama” at the poor woman and the Captain was off again, thundering down the track. I still wonder what on earth she thought was going on. A madly galloping horse coming to deal halt alongside her and a madwoman shouting llama!…

Somewhat surprisingly, given my slightly random nature, the 2.07 was plucked from the air! If I make a payment tomorrow it will be 2.08. I used to buy a coffee on the way to work costing 2.00 but decided to throw it against my debt instead. In order to track how long it took to go across to the credit card account and to make sure it arrived, I added the day's date in pennies. So a £2.00 payment on Valentine's day would be £2.14. I actually do this for any extra payments, be they a pound or a hundred pounds ( I wish!)

You didn't tell us you were a genius too! That is so simple yet effective (and if done every day of a 31 day month adds £4.96 to what you'd have otherwise paid. (£4.65 on a 30 day month obviously) if I've done my sums correctly. Which is £57.38 on an average year £57.67 on a leap year if done every day.

That's not to be sneezed at at all!

You mean you hadn't noticed I was a genius? :eek:Hadn't any of you???:eek: I'll have to get myself a badge....

KT you are as sad as me, I added up the pennies too to work out the extra payment, didn't go as far as working out a leap year though. So that means you get the slightly sadder badge....
