Without referees there would be no football. Without moderators there would be no forum. Back off and show some respect.

And with no solidarity the ordinary people can be pushed around and manipulated by those wielding power whether it is for good or for bad.

    Back off yourself!

Hey Derv, apologies my first impression was that you had just been promoted to a Mod :D

Maybe you should have had one before YOU started criticising all the other posters and giving them orders?

    Ok, complaint email sent off.....

GG, without people there would be no forum, I have shown respect in that I have not been abusive, merely questioning the actions. I am a forum owner and we have an open way of running our forum with any changes directly impacting on our posters, being discussed with them in an open manner before changes are made.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

This thread is definitely off topic and is ripe for the discussion board. :D

  • Agreed Single Sue.

Some posters have been less respectful than yourself.

You have every right to run your forum in the way that you do. Equally, Martin is entitled to run his forum his way.

Ironic that this thread becomes one of the more popular. And that sums up why this board is so good and a pleasure, sometimes, to log into.

I find this thread quite abusive tothe board guides. They have been given their guide lines and they stick to them. Not always an easy job I'm sure but without them we would have more conflict and an untidy site.
Which is fine when they get it right as they mostly do
With many threads once the initial question has been answered it moves to discussion and to the wider public. Personally I can't see a problem with this and can't understand you over protectiveness of particular threads.
It is not just the threads, it is the overall collection of threads and the very clear message to take [very relevant] discussion on related topics elsewhere.
As for picking on Divadee is ungentlemanly and uncalled for!
Divadee stuck her head above the parapet on this one, was initially quite dismissive of the complaints and has made no move to accept that she had made a mistake to the present. As it was instigated by divadee, it is not 'picking on'. It would only be 'picking on' if we chose to have a go at another board guide.

Plainly divadee has very little feeling or understanding for the substance of this board, having made a serious misjudgement. Personally, I don't see how she can continue as a board guide here, given that one of the criteria is "Generally the person picked would be someone that has used that particular board a lot and already understands how it works."
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

The mod obviously thinks he is doing the right thing but I feel his lack of knowledge has impaired his ability to do his job properly. Looking at the threads moved many are totally relevant to house prices. The mod doesn't realise this and therefore thinks he is doing a good job.

It's blatantly obvious to those that have knowledge of the factors affecting house prices that the mod has made a mistake. I hope for the sake of the forum that the mod is either replaced and the board goes back to what it was or that the mod is given a quick 101 on house prices and the issues that affect them.
