Looking to the future, do you realise what a wonderful example and template you are setting for your little girl - she will absorb it painlessly as part of her growing up and a wise part of play as you shop can be asking her the prices of things, playing comparisons, doing test weighs on the scales etc.etc.

we have some news!!! fab for us, maybe not so great for getting DF....

....i'm pregnant! were so happy, even though its not great timing, we are NOT going to allow it to set us back, everything will carry on as normal, all the big stuff can be bought with the sure start maternity grant (which we will be entitled to) and bits bought/borrowed from family.

thankfully as we already have DD we know the difference between things bubs needs, and the things we want for it, so that should make things easier

congrats on your pregnancy too, even more now have a look at www.freecycle.org for your local freecycle group. I can guarantee you could get everything you need for a baby from there over the next few months.

Congratulations bumblebee87! What a lovely Christmas present, I found out I was pregnant at Christmas 4 years ago and it gives you a whole new incentive to be debt free when another little bundle comes along. Hope you have a lovely New Year x

wooooo!!!!! just spoken to my step-dad and his sister has a crib we can have!!!! i wanted one for DD but couldnt justify the cost for only a few months
