  • Hi Bumble - well done on the No spend - that's fab!

Can't say much on your other half's work troubles as I don't know much! Maybe try the company above as RAS has suggested! :)

  • well, its payday again on friday, woah thats come quickly, thank god for a 4 week month!!!

hopefully OH will get paid properly this month!!!

i think we have spent about £120 on groceries this month (which includes DD's night time nappies, wipes, and cleaning stuff) although we have been out for dinner a couple of times too which pushed to food bill up a bit. those nights out were much needed and me and OH have had such a chilled month which is great, because we need to be strong together to get rid of this debt.

im not sure what else there is to say about this month really, so ill have a quick think about next month

ive really enjoyed me and OH actually going out this month, so i have now got an orange sim card so we can use orange wednesdays to go to the cinema probably once or twice a month, depnding on if my dad will have DD for us.

lots and lots of batch cooking again this month, i still have 4 meals in the freezer, so we arent going to be struggling to find meals in the run up to payday like we usually are

    avoiding lidl like the plague!!!!!!!!

all my fruit and veg this month will be coming from the local market.

i am going to buy half of the meat for this month from the butchers, and half from Mr T's so we can compare both price and quality (although i already know which will win in the quality stakes!)

im sure there is more, but ill come back to it a bit later x

Fantastic that you got through the month and managed to go out despite the short pay. Did you manage the monument DD too?

  • the monument standing order wasnt paid this month, but we OH spoke to them, and we are going to put an extra £10 on the next 4 payments so its ok really.

its a shame we didnt pay it, but we still had a great month :D
