  • hi bumble sorry to hear about your loss.

For the nappies and wipes i think £40 is far to much a mth, i get the tesco nappies as they are just the same as other brands and also get them when on offer, the same for wipes, supermarkets always have one type of wipe on bogof etc. i get two big bags of nappies when on offer and they last me well over a mth more like two mths (dd is 2 in jan, got no3 due in march so going to try and get her of nappies in the day before little one comes so i dont have two lots!!!)
The shopping might be able to come down a little have a look on the old style board you can get lots of advice on there (im trying to get mine down by meal planning and bulking foods out etc)

The mobiles should be able to come down...

Do you work?? you could try the up your income board for lots of ideas on making a little extra money, mystery shopping quidco etc etc. There is lots of things you can do around dd.

Good luck and coming on here is a great start there are lots of people who can offer advice etc and get some good tips on saving little bits here and there which you can throw to your rent...

edit to say that i had somehow managed to miss the second page!!lol.
glad it all went well today

I am SO glad for you. I am a bit worried that you made the highest offer you can afford, because that does not leave much leeway, so please keep on here and we will support you through the next 3 months.

  • it is the first thing we pay on payday, so its not too much of a problems, other things can be cut back through the month if things start to be a bit of squeeze, weve been through everything and are 100% confident that we will be able to keep it up and stay afloat.
