  • first one didnt sell

    second one - £1.04 whoop

third one has a few minutes left, but is going to sell for at least 99p, but i think DD has had hold of it so i need to look for it, oops i think my 100% feedback is about to get a hit
  • last one gone for 99p! and ive found it so *phew*

    £2.03 woohoo lol
  • well at least you have been paid to declutter a bit if nothing else :)
  • well, OH's wages cleared in this afternoon so we went shopping, first lot done for.........

......£30.75!!!! usually we would go out on payday and spend £75 - £80!!!
  • well its court tomorrow. im terrified to say the least, OH is paying the rent today with a bit of overpayment, and im hoping that will show that we are willing to get rid of the arrears, but we are living in a city with a huuuuuuuuge waiting list of people needing council accommodation so im thinking that the worst is going to happen.

its 10 days to chrismas and i havent been able to bring myself to put the decs up cos im so scared that we will be getting kicked out, we will have nowhere to go, and lose our daughter, i cant lose her, i just cant.

im sitting here in floods of tears facing up to the truth of what *I* have done to the 3 of us.

i dont know what to do now. on the plus side we arent at home for xmas or new year anyway, so the only expenses we have is a bit of travelling. DD's prezzies have been bought over the last few months and she only has 4 prezzies, that makes me feel terrible cos we couldnt even afford the one thing she really wanted, it was £35 and we just couldnt find the money :(

im having a real down day today, plus we think OH may be coming down with flu (maybe due to stress) and that puts his operation on wednesday into question. we really cant be doing with that.

right i feel like im rambling on

i need a big fat mug of tea

Hi bumblebee. we've not spoken before but have a massive hug. have you got that cup of tea yet? re tomorrow, I so feel for you with the waiting game. but there is nothing you can do to speed up its arrival so try to relax as much as you possibly can. take DD for a walk to the park and have a play in the puddles. take some photos and generally try to forget for a while. When you get back write out a statement of why you feel things have slipped for you, what you are doing and have done over the last month to rectify things and recognise how you are feeling now towards your mums death, finances and life in general. THat way it will help you get straight in your head what you want to say in court tomorrow and you can even take it with you as a prompt.
You have my full and endless empathy. god only knows what i'd do without my mum. Lots of love sweetheart. xxx

exactly!! be proud of yourself for that change. It just goes to show how much of a difference you have made in the short space of time you have been here. go to court tomorrow, hold your head up high, and get the result that you need they will recognise a mile off the difference between a can't pay person and a won't pay person and you are certainly of the former. Have you spoken to CAB about it? (sorry reading your diary backwards!!! other than page 1!)
And what was the thing DD wanted for christmas if you don't mind me asking? there is a reason and it isn't to upset you i promise!!! :)

  • we havent spoken to CAB yet, reason for that might sound a bit confused but, we want to make an agreement with the council first, then we will go to either CAB or CCCS to sort out the rest of the debts. we need to know exactly how much rent we will be paying a month before getting head on with everything else. im not sure if that is the right way to do things, but it made sense to us

DD was after an in the night garden toy. its upsy-daisy and her bed which rocks her to sleep. were lucky in the fact that the only things she asks for when we are out are dolls, and things that really catch her eye, and she has commented on that every time she has seen it
  • Hi Bumble

Sorry I’ve not been on over the weekend, wasn’t at home!!

Firstly well done on the food shopping!! That’s great!! It’s such a great feeling when you achieve it, and also a “wonder feeling” of exactly what you spent all your money on before!?!?

Second – I agree with Pania, hold your head up high tomorrow. Sit down today when you have time and write down exactly what you have done so far, and what your future plans are (include going to the CAB once you have sorted the rent). Writing down exactly what you want to say will help you remember what to say , as I always think that in those situations the memory can go blank (mine certainly does ).

I think you are well within your rights (and only if you feel the strength to be able to) to state the situation with your mum and that although you do not feel it is an excuse, you realise that it was a situation which affected your judgement at the time.

If you can – go with a statement of affairs – showing exactly what you can afford to pay without getting yourself in further trouble and the fact you have already showed willing will only help.

Wishing you all the very best for tomorrow, big hugs and lots of strength your way. :grouphug:
