Just popped down to mine (late night shopping tonight) in the hope of getting one of the cheap DVD players - they only had the WorthIt ones left, going through the till at £14.30, so I left it as I can get one from Argos for only pennies more and have some aftersales.
But - I did find a Fireman Sam tri-scooter down to £12 (after all the discounting) from a supposed rrp of £40 - which is perfect for my youngest as he's coveting his older brothers micro scooters at the moment but can't handle them.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

Whilst you did get a good buy, Woolies RRP usually tends to defy belief.

I know - I didn't for a minute believe their RRP - but as you say, for £12, who can complain

I managed to pick up a few good things, lots of nice gifty things for half price and very cheap stationery (already reduced, and then 20% off), spent around £35 in total. Didn't bother with confectionery/entertainment because IMO 10% is a bit poor! xxx0

Except for the 800g Maltesers buckets that were half price -10% making them £2.93.
I also picked up some rolls of sticky-backed plastic for 40p, a travel Cluedo for £1.60, some half price posters and a Dustbuster for £7.99 reduced from £24.99.If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0 -

by saying ALL stock UP TO 50% off, i would say everything in store should have a discount.Just be aware that not all things in woolies is discounted as I found out today. tryed to buy some dinorsaur books priced £7.99 and boots and they said that these are not discounted so I said your poster said all Stock up to 50% off. Well this is not included. Could not be bothered to continue any more argueing so I left it. Did anyone else have problems???
even if 99.9% of items had a 1% discount and 0.1% of items had a 50% discount it would be correct
non?my 'u' btton is broked :rolleyes:0
