Thank you to the OP for the info on the brown fur throw. There was a large stack of them in Watford High Street. DD has been wanting one of these for ages for her bedroom, but I would not pay for one. Maybe it might even encourage her to keep her bed neat and tidy - I wish!

Rant over - I managed to get a dvd player for DS - I didnt end up getting the £7.49 one as couldnt see it?!?!?!? But I'm glad as I did manage to get a Disney Cars one, - was £60 (apparently?) then £20, then a sticker over the top of that sticker saying £15 so got it down to £12 with 20% offer today. Very Happy. Picked up some baubels that were already half price then 30% off again so £3 - £1.50 and I got them for £1.05, gold with glitter and sparkles over them. I also got a Dora the Explorer musical book that was already half price from £9.99 to £5 so £4 with discount DD will get that for birthday next year. Posters for DS - WWE and Arsenal for £2, tho it should have been £3.50 for both as £7 offer for 2 origianlly but I wasnt going to quibble over 50p, in the current situation. I got a double duvet, 2 pillows and a matress protector all in one pack for £8, was £17 then £10 so happy with that!!
I will go back over the weekend and see what else is around once the mayhem dies down :-)))

would love to get the cars dvd player, my boys is cars mad!!!

Its very good, I got it out the box to check it all out, make sure it was working - Its the purple car, not sure of his name but the bonnet opens when you press the grill and you slot in the dvd and close the bonnet and the headlights are on/standby button and play/pause button. It comes with a romote control style remote, like you would get with a remote control car, its very good and was very happy with it for that price!
It was on its own on top shelf in Electrical section so hunt around there for it!! Good luck if you going to look for one :D
  • Popped into the local Woolies today to find that the price I paid on Nintendo Ds games on Monday (£19.99, no sale) had increased to £29.99 with a 10% discount. Hmmm , I'm not that good at math but isn't that an increase in price?
  • my local woolies had loads when they opened and i managed to get in before work but i went in after i finished work and there was hardly anything left! pleased with my bargains though, i got 9 rolls of wrapping paper for £2,dora stuff for my girl and loads of other stuff. i felt guilty taking advantage of their misfortune tho! did anyone else find, like i did, that the staff are past caring? a friend went in and said they were not scanning things properly and she got loads for free...
    ;)

Lots of stuff no cheaper or even more expensive than previously, but worth asking prices as ticket prices don't seem to be correct always - I bought a car vac reduced from £15 to £11, officially, plus a discount - cost £4.80 actually.

Got some 24p wrapping paper rolls too, on 50% off.

    Hope that helps someone.

Just be aware that not all things in woolies is discounted as I found out today. tryed to buy some dinorsaur books priced £7.99 and boots and they said that these are not discounted so I said your poster said all Stock up to 50% off. Well this is not included. Could not be bothered to continue any more argueing so I left it. Did anyone else have problems???
