  • I've just opened the case for unpaid item, but I dont have the item to send if she pays, what do i do????

Refund her and issue the strike.

If she replies to the dispute close it at once and issue the strike.

    You stress too much.

  • It wont let me issue the strike straight away then????
  • It wont let me issue the strike straight away then????

7 or 8 days from when it was opened or as soon as they reply.

I'm a buyer, and I don't understand why sellers stress so much over negatives. I know the rules on ebay, negatives are meaningless now. I read the feedback, and make my judgements based on them. If a buyer has left abusive negs for eveyone fair enough, they're meaningless.
The only ones that count are when the seller has left an abusive, or patronising response. The I'll move on. If the sellers response is polite and reasonable, I'll still buy.

I'm sure you'd think differently if you were a seller.

    Why?
Do you really think buyers are put off by negatives, or will automatically buy if the seller is 100%?
There are all sorts of reasons I buy or don't buy, feedback is only part of it.

No, as per the earlier posts you either have to wait until day 8 and close the dispute then (that would be good as if buyer fails to respond her negative will be removed). Or alternatively as soon as buyer responds you can close the dispute and give her a strike. If she does pay you can just return it with a note saying due to length of time item is not available.

If you had done the strike originally the buyer might well already have been suspended if she makes a habit of this.

Possibly the dumbest question I've seen on these boards.

You do actually mean that don't you. Negative feedback upsets you. But if that's what worries you fair enough, you must get enough buyers that fit the criteria you target, and there are certainly enough good sellers out there for me.
  • Buyer has again responded aggressively, and threatens the police, which I thought was quite funny, considering it is her who hasn't paid, anyway i don't wish to engage in smalltalk or worse with this idiot, did you say Soolin that I can give her a strike now she has responded, can you talk me through this thanks!
