Right, I've posted before, and have had letters twice from debt collection agencies.
Now I have a letter from a solicitor referring to additional costs of £207.25p.
Is the advice still to ignore? It's a bit bloody worrying!Er...0 -
Only £2.50 eh?that suprised me,coupled with the 5 letters at say 35p each to send........shame it isnt more that they are losing, when these cretinous private parking companies go to the wall then i presume the dvla will charge more?after all PPCs must be one of thier best customers?shame its a waste for them..more lol, anyways making paper planes is NOT a fetish...but the company has just folded, any better creative ideas for the pointless letters that these people send will be appreciated...keep it clean!
Please remember to keep up the ignoring from PPCs0 -
what ive read unless you recieve offical stamped court papers everything else just ignore, just like what im doing.0

So you haven't read the sticky at the top of this parking forum sub-board then? The one with pics of all the letter to expect? Or the sticky 'read before posting' with the link to Watchdog's solicitor showing what to do with one of these fake PCNS?
Let me guess, Roxburghe and Graham White, or another typical letter-chain?
The info is all there at the top of the forum, just click on the link I mention in my signature, it's at the top of the page now underneath the Banking Saving tab. That shows you the whole board view, stickies at the top. Look at the letters, watch the Watchdog link.
(Why oh why is this ancient thread continually bumped with new cases when there's a whole current board of info?).
Please no more replies on this thread, it needs to be archived IMHO.
The parking board has the up to date info, there's no need for this old discussion thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not trying to stop people posting a new thread if they need to, after reading the stickies by Crabman!
But so many people all posting after a hundred pages on here, all about different cases, is pointless. The stickies have all the info if only people would look at the board and read the information at the top, rather than this little old thread!

I recently received a PCN from private parking company CMS, my initial reaction was to appeal online on their site. I accidently ticked a box saying I was the driver of the vehicle related to that fine.
Will I need to now pay this fine?
It started at £50, then went to £80 and now they are threatening £130 if not paid within 7days.
Any advice would be appreciated?0 -

The advice is to ignore utterly, the invoice is not enforceable!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Thanks for the advice! Why is the invoice not enforceable even though they are in charge of the land?0
