  • I had a 'ticket' from Civil Enforcement Ltd in September and I have now had all six letters from them and Newlyn. I'm gutted that I won't be hearing any more from them or has someone had further letters that haven't been photocopied on here?

Ah ha! A seventh letter. :) Still from Newlyn though.:( I thought I'd got the last letter in the 'chain'. Not much point posting it as it's almost the same as the others.

Have you heard about the clamper whom clamped a car even though it had a valid permit on display?

The reason given for the clamp is that even though the permit was on display it wasn't stuck to her windscreen...

...hard times fall on the clampers indeed.

Typical for Plod, it was no longer a civil matter if the permit was on display! It is then extortion, then they nick the boyfriend for trying to get it off!
  • got my first letter through last monday, will have a look at up loading it , must admit if you didnt know about it being a scam you would pay up , but i have seen the light and will ignore.

The local Tesco has now decided to get in bed with a PPC with a "camera" enforced 3 hour limit.

I have a question, say for example the "invoice" is for £70 and someone is silly enough to pay it, how much actually goes back to the landowner?

More importantly though for any retailer, you pay an invoice the PPC requested, you have that much less money to spend in their shops, so the PPC bleeds the shopper and then that shopper doesn't have the money to spend in their shop, so the PPC leeches off person the shop is trying the hardest to go spend money in their premises, does that make financial sense at all ?
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

  • Ive just received a PCN for overstaying the 60 free parking minutes by 34 minutes in the car park at SPORTS DIRECT in St Helens,Merseyside.

The entrance photo shows my car with the number plate brightened up, but both photo's show the public road (although empty) behind the photo's, don't they need a special licience to photograph public roads?

Anyway, I was going to pay the reduced amount of £75, but decided to Google the companies name 'G24 Ltd', mmm, all forums say the PCN is unenforceable, and not to contact then or pay reguardless of any threatening letters they send to me.

Can someone put an upto-date reply to confirm this.

    Thanks
