It wasn't free. I paid 30p for half hour when i should really have paid 50p for a full hour.0

Well you owe them 20p. They wouldn't dare take you to court for that. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I was going to send them a letter with the 20p inside! hehe0

Absolutely, been there done that.
99.99% do NOT do Court. A few recent cases by OPC were lost, no others known.
This is such a common scam that almost everyone on this board has had at least one private parking ticket and ignored it (mine was over a year ago and the driver was allegedly there for four hours in a two hour private car park). There is no risk in ignoring everything in the absence of sealed, genuine Court papers, which won't come.
I am surprised that people say they have read threads but then ask about whether anyone else has had certain Graham White letters. All everyone has to do is look at the first thread on this board, the Graham White letters are all there in pictograms, Loads and loads of people have had these letters as they are computer-generated by Roxburghe debt collectors.
Funnily enough I was only looking at my collection of debt collector letters yesterday and laughing at them. You can see a preview of the letters to ignore, in the first post of the first thread on this board. Look at the pics now, you can see what will come next:

Plus you'll see by the number of current threads (of which there are pages and pages!) on that link, just how common this scam is. All the new questions on here today have been asked before lots of times, this thread is one of hundreds! Read some threads on the link above, then look back pages and pages and pages - except for the odd Police or Council ticket and clamping case - all of those threads are from people like you.
All the same, all ignored, doesn't matter who the PPC is. Nothing will happen.
You will just get some free paper aeroplanes (see this Watchdog link to see why that's funny!). Do show your husband these replies and these links:

NEVER pay a private parking ticket. Think no more of it apart from to spread the word.
:T
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello,
My flat comes with one allocated parking space for which i have a permit... which is in my car window. While picking my son up from town (20 miles away) my car broke down. I called my ex husband who exchanged my car for his van (hes a mechanic I didnt just leave him stranded) and got my son and bought him home now gone 2300hrs. Next morning 9am, yep I got a PCN on the vans window, £85 reduced to £60 if paid immediately. I emailed them straight away in a panic stating above and saying i was not using more than my permitted space, single mum, seriously no money etc (all this before I read anything on here)
I got a reply by email, appeal not allowed, and my husband received at his address the 'DO NOT IGNORE THIS' invoice. (gosh he was cross)
the issuer of the PCN is FLASHPARK (VCS and FLASHPARK are trading names for Vehicle Control Solutions Ltd)
Have you heard of this company, and I know you have said it a thousand times, but even though i have emailed the basically admitting the infringement, do I still ignore anything else they send?
Thank you for any help0 -
Same advice as the rest would put Pay nothing, do nothing, even after all the threating letters do nothing, You will find many other after me will tell you the same, Why its a PPC (Private parking company)0

Yes heard of them, tell your ex not to pay them, and completely ignore any letters from them, bogus debt collectors, and equally bogus solicitors , they will say they will take you to court etc, they won't they'd lose!
And they don't do appeals, they do refusals!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Technically, breach of contract. They can sue you for actual losses incurred, which is zero.
Otherwise they could put signs up threatening blue cars with tickets for £10,000, take people to court everyday and win.
Carry on ignoring!0
