The CAG forum is reporting that OPC lost yet another case yesterday. This time they didn't even bother to turn up to court. Has that company got some sort of death wish? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I parked at an APCOA run station car park, bought a parking ticket but failed to leave it clearly visible on the dash board. When I returned to my car I had been issued with a Civil Parking notice for 'no valid payment'. I wrote to APCOA with copy of parking ticket but they claim it was not visible and are demanding £50/£80 as final settlement. What would you recommend?0

Spend a short while reading around these threads and you will no doubt come to a conclusion of what scamsters they are and to totally IGNORE the begging letters you will no doubt receive.
They are inviting you to pay an invoice, well just ignore them so they can spend more money sending begging letters out to you.0 -
Ignore APCOA.0

Ignore APCOA.
Yep, ignore them completely.
Keep the ticket though, quite funny - for you - that it says 'no payment' when you had made payment. Report their debt collectors for harassment when they start sending you letters.
DO NOT PAY, it's a scam. :mad:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A little light reading

Although why these bits of paper keep being called "fines" is beyond me. Lazy journalism.0 -
