Just file the letter, then completely ignore anything else you have from them, these are unenforcible invoices, and they will not take you to court at all, also don't pay them a single penny as its not a fine.

Thanks for that, thats pretty much what I thought, even if it did get to court I could argue that the sign said emergency access and the parking pratt put on the ticket emergency EXIT, two different things in my view.

So this doesnt affect credit ratings I presume? thats my only worry

It will not get to court and it will not affect your rating

No it will not effect anything, they need to take you to court, win and you refuse to pay, they won't take you there as they will lose like a PPC did yesterday. Also they can't send bailiffs to you at all, these are just scare tactics so you will stump up the cash!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Hi Quanto. Everytime I get a letter I come on here and you seem to have received exactly the same letter as me. I'm also in dispute with Excel and received a letter from Roxburgh debt collectors with the same amount this morning. Not sure if it means anything but it looks like they have a factory line approach to "debt collection." I'm going to keep ignoring to be honest.

I'm just getting a bit nervy as I thought they would give up and not send the letters to the debt collectors, just wanted to know how many threats they make before going away so far 3 letters from Excell and 1 from Roxburgh.
I shall be ignoring but nervously so, still don't like being hassled for a invoice if it is unenforceable.
Has anyone ignored all correspondence from Excell and have they gone away?

Yes. Many, very many. Become one of the many.

How difficult is it to ignore nonsense received through the letter box ?

Quanto2009 and Ountz, you don't have to guess which letters you'll get next.

If you'd just read the first thread on the parking sub-board you'd have found pictures of all the letters in the Roxburghe/Graham White letter-chain:

    PPC letters/threats, what to expect

Read it and laugh when you get the matching set, you'll know that's it! :T
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

In fact he has signed up with two names (Gerald Maskell and ParkLawGuru). Some of his comments are hilarious, including implying that the parking company CPS is something to do with the Crown Prosecution Service, and that the "paper aeroplane" lawyer who appeared Watchdog was a "very dodgy looking guy" and that none of the presenters on the programme believed a word he was saying.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

I had never been on CAG but nipped over for a read. My word that chap is a true idiot. A lot of what he posts is indeed hilarious and the fact that he just ignores questions and ploughs his lonely furrow shows a great determination. But then when it is your income that is being hit I suppose you do get desperate. What a loser.
