It was that's if one was put on his car. My oh is a retired police sgt. and his last couple of years in the job was with the traffic wardens ( the real ones ) where he was in charge of them. Roxburghe have called once but didn't speak when I answered but I'm quite looking forward to speaking to them, I won't be saying to much to them but what I do say will be very strongly worded :rotfl:.

I'm just getting a bit nervy as I thought they would give up and not send the letters to the debt collectors, just wanted to know how many threats they make before going away so far 3 letters from Excell and 1 from Roxburgh.
I shall be ignoring but nervously so, still don't like being hassled for a invoice if it is unenforceable.
Has anyone ignored all correspondence from Excell and have they gone away?

I know what you mean. It can be a little nervy as you think that you'll be the only one who gets taken to court out of thousands who don't. I do find it quite strange that our receiving of letters seems to be synchronised which would point to them treating all cases the same and not individually. As if they have a system that they stick to. I reckon I've got a pretty good case against them even if it did come to court which I'm 99% sure it won't.0 -

As I posted above, they do treat everyone the same - because it's a computer-generated letter-chain and we can show you the letters you and quanto2009 will get next.
If you'd just read the first thread on the parking sub-board when you first came to the forum, you'd have found pictures of all the letters in the Roxburghe/Graham White letter-chain:
PPC letters/threats, what to expect
Read it and laugh when you get the matching set, you'll know that's it for you both! :T
And you can be 100% sure it isn't going to Court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Iv had the full set of Roxburge and Graham White letters, 7 lots in total, some spanning back 2 yrs now, and have not suffered a single consequence!
My work colleagues I have obviously advised to do the same, and they have started to do so, while keeping an eye on what happens to me!!
I agree, at first it is nerve racking, but hold ur nerve and ignore them completely, nothing will happen. Ur credit rating will not be affected as these companies are not legit and u need to be found guilty of an offence before it can affect ur credit rating, which they cannot do.
If you read the letters carefully, they are indeed very threatening in nature, until u read the bottom line which always says 'to avoid the POSSIBILITY of this action.....' blah blah. Because they know damn well they havent got a leg to stand on!0 -
Yesterday I parked on what looked like a public street named Beadham Drive in north Manchester close to Heaton Park to take part in the run for life. On returning to the car I found a ticket from a company called UK Parking patrol although I wasn't parked on any double yellow lines. A local residant shouted that i was on a private estate and thats why i had the ticket. I have today tried to establish if the road is private but Manchester councels computer system has been down so no joy yet. From what i have seen on this forum today i fully intend to ignore any "letters" I may recieve, but has anyone else had dealings with UK Parking Patrol or had a ticket for parking on a public highway?0

UK Parking Control are well known on here and can safely be ignored. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
-
Thanks for the reply but the company is UK Parking Patrol not control.0

Patrol, Control. Doesn't really matter, to be honest. If you spend a little time reading some of the threads, you will realise you can still ignore. Patrol is no more enforceable than Control.0

Has it got any council logos on it ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
No council logo and I asked Manchester council if they use the firm to which they replied no. If you look at there web site for payment it is laughable, most school kids could produce the web site.
