Not unless you are charging yourself to release yourself.

Does this mean you can clamp without being SIA reg'd as long as you're not charging for release [merely inconveniencing the 'parker']??

I don't think so but you would not need a license to put anything on your own car.

If you are unable to remove adhesive from your vehicle that has been put there by a "security company" does that constitute criminal damage?

Yes, former government Minister Chris Pond had to accept a caution after fixing a note to a neighbours door with adhesive.

"In doing that I have to accept I made a mistake. If leaving traces of glue on the door constitutes criminal damage I have to take responsibility for it."

The CAG forum is reporting yet another case has been lost by OPC. That makes three this week. In this one, OPC didn't bother to turn up at the court so the case was dismissed.

They do that all the time. Could they be considered vexatious litigants ?

This is what I was wondering last week - how exactly do HMCS decide on a vexatious litigant? The same way they decide on those who perjure themselves perhaps. I know of a nasty piece of work who lied to a Judge's face and got away with it.

Hi All, a newbie here, I just got a parking ticket issued by Central Ticketing , Birmingham, for parking in a disabled bay,at Deepdale, Preston, I am disabled, my car is a Motabilty car and it says so on the tax disc. My badge unfortunately was out of date due to a house move, the new one has not yet arrived, they are demanding the usual £60.00 with threats of excess if not paid. do i ignore this ticket as many users on here seem to suggest? any info would be greatly appreciated

Also, the blue-badge scheme does not apply to parking on private land. In fact they breaking the DDA by discriminating against disabled people who do not have a blue badge.

Can't help but wonder if the out of date badge would cause a problem, even though the tax disc does say disabled etc

With whom would it cause a problem?
    Not the PPC scum anyway.
