Getting back to the point, it seems that some landowners are now waking up to the damage caused by clampers, as this article shows.
LBS have been featured on this forum. They have a string of CCJs against them, the VAT number they show on their documents actually belongs to Barclay's Bank, they were falsely claiming to be licensed by the SIA, and one of their own vans was clamped by the authorities for having no road tax. Such nice people! What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
"Such nice people!" - as you rightly point out.
I wonder why anyone defends these scum?0 -
In any other business they would have been shut down by DTI long ago.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

As they own their own van remedy should be obtainable.0

To that poster whom lives on a private road where people try and park for free, get yourself a wheel-clamp, park your own car on the road and clamp your own car yourself (or do you need to be SIA registered to clamp your own vehicle?)0

The CAG forum is reporting yet another case has been lost by OPC. That makes three this week. In this one, OPC didn't bother to turn up at the court so the case was dismissed. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
