I ordered an ipod nano 3rd gen in October. and after many emails and requests for money back I still have no reply! I feel scammed out of £70 which is quite a bit of money for me as I am a student.
I tried disputing with pay pal and trading standards but to no avail.
To learn I am not the oly one having problems spurs me on to do something about this company!!!0 -
Hi everyone, I ordered from a website http://www.myleensfare.co.uk/ and then got a worldpay payment approved email which said I had bought from Models and Modistas. I thought this was a little strange, so I did a search and found this forum. So it looks like this website is ran by the same guy.
I felt pretty stupid afterwards after taking a second look at this myleensfare website. It's very unprofessional. What I've done is sent an email for my order to be cancelled. No charge has yet appeared on my credit card but I'm keeping an eye out. If I do get charged, and my order isn't cancelled I'm going to get onto worldpay and then if that doesn't work, my credit card company.
From what I've read this guy is not a complete thief, he'll often send something but it'll often be damaged or a fake. It seems like too big a risk to take to order from him.
I notice now that https://www.modelsandmodistas.co.uk is not found. I suppose this may mean someone has shut this guy down.
Before I ordered from this "myleen''s fare" website, I did a google search because I thought it looked a little dodgy. I didn't find anything so I went ahead and ordered. So my hope is that by posting this people will realise that it may not be legitimate.0 -
Thanks for the info, My husband pay 390.00GBP for a Guccci bag on the 12 of December that never arrive and Fred said that he will refound but nothing so far I got him to answer his phone last week and he promess I´ll have an answer in an hour guess what nothing.

Im gonna sniff out any other sites this (something I stepped in wont come off my shoe) character. I will be sure to advertise ANY and ALL of his sister sites\companies in this thread for everyone to see.
It seems his scam deliberatley involves Worldpay, I would avoid anything using Wordlpay. I strongly advise like polarisation that should anyone find links to him via his didgy "logo" to report it here in this thread.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I ordered 2 ipod nanos early December. I received them in time for Christmas. Christmas Day my kids opened their ipods only to find they were a load of rubbish and not genuine apple products. I have emailed 2 or 3 times and returned the products. I tracked them with Royal Mail and know they have M&M have received them, but I have heard nothing. Not happy!!0

Their address is:
Models & Modistas
Oakwood Grove
Dublin 22
Ireland
Tel: 00353 876805801
If you do get through on this number then the chances are it will be an answering machine and they never got back to me. I sent a letter by recorded delivery (copy by email too) giving them 7 days to send the goods or give a full refund otherwise I would take them to the small claims Court. I didn't get any response by letter or email but SURPRISE I did receive the goods within the 7 days. Good Luck.0 -
Another hapless victim of this rip-off merchant here (did eventually get my mony back via the consumer credit act). I would avoid ANY dealings wiht them or any other guises they appear under.
I would always do a who is search nowadays and here's them:

yet another embarrassed victim here. I been stupidly waiting nearly two months for delivery of an Ipod shuffle. Needless to say it hasn't arrived and from what I've read here, is likely to be fake if it does!
I see a few of you here have had luck getting a refund. Can anyone tell me what info I need to give the guy to get a refund? eg 'worldpay transaction ID'? Obviously I don't want to give him any more than he needs to know...0
