As the OP I would like to point out to you both - no its not 'funny' and we are all human -

• The prices he shows are cheap but not ridiculously as so alarm bells would ring.
• Availability on the brand name items is not difficult - go into any small exclusive boutique and they will have at least one 'name'

• I have used websites that are patently obvious non native English speakers without problems
• An address and phone no was provided
• AS for helpefully posting the URL - No one googles a URL!! When I searched 'models and modistas' to check reviews/feedback after originally finding site (googling cheap ipods) it did not come up with anything other than the site itself. Trying it now of course brings up a different story, due to this thread and cayoutrustthem.com!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and we are all grateful for your insightful posts.

However it's not appropriate here as of course we all now know the information that you so graciously pointed out.:doh:

Perhaps you would like to start your own thread(s) and assist others before they make our mistakes.?!

Hope that you all can get together as there is definitly more power in numbers. Thoughts to you all that you can put him out of business

has anyone received a refund? i have received a email saying i will get a refund but i am extremely wary of trusting them and sending the earphones i ordered back to them.

hi....i ordered an ipod shuffle on the 9th dec for an xmas present. The payment screen was filled out by myself and then froze, not proceeding to th next screen (where i presume i would have got an order number of some sort). I emailed them straight away asking if the order had gone through but recieved no reply several times. NOT A WORD TO THIS DAY !!!

I have since received my bank statement and the payment did indeed go through but no goods to show for it. I have called to phone no. but goes st8 to answer machine. I have sent another email but no reply.

For those of you that seem to have had an actual reply to an email.....LUCKY YOU !!!

would never ever buy from this company again.....legit companies to do not behave in this way. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Maybe it is your place maybe it isn't. I do think though before they started inferring I was laughing at their misfortune that they read my post and understand what I did. Before making judgements, therefore I wouldn't get !!!!!! off for helping and getting slated for it

I really dont think Omen666 intentionally meant to be rude, he was merely pointing out that we all should be more vigorous when purchasing online, its no fault of your own that you were "hoodwinked" in fact the blame solely lies in M&M, who's purpose was to con the customers.

If there is any sort of blame that this is allowed to go on, I place it on the mat of government for allowing such gaping loopholes to happen, and Trading Standards for doing the usual sit back and watch it go on. Certainly not any member of MSE, it is our sole purpose to warn other potential victims of this SCAM.

Spot on Marley and Thanks. I was also posting what I posted so Google would pick up that it is a scam from their websearch, to which it is the first result now preventing others who search in the future to fall foul of the scam

I purchased a set of shure e4c headphones, and like most here I paid by worldpay, I bought the goods December 13th and checked the web before I purchased the goods, the web site looks legit, worldpay is legit, on the day I purchased there was only one other mention of this company on the net, or in any forum and on the forum I saw the purchaser had actually received a full refund, (lucky him eh)
well needless to say here we are in january, no headphones, no response from any emails, and unable to leave an message due to the companies in ansa phone being full ( I wonder why)
there must be something that can be done to shut down the web site, it is a free web company called freewebstore, but I have looked all over their web site and there appears to be no contact details unless you are processing a web site from them.
the key here is to shut down his access to the web, any ideas anybody

I agree scum like this should (like paedophiles) be BANNED from use of the internet. But even that doesnt go far enough, personally half an hour in a room full of the scammed victims would be more than enough

Thought that I was the only one up to an hour ago, but hell no!!!

Bought a pair of "B&O" headphones off of our 'friend' Mr Penny and shock horror they are fakes!

He mailed me back to say they "ARE genuine":rotfl:and if I send them back he will give me a refund. I have asked for an address but havent recieved it yet!!

Probably best to keep the fakes and learn my lesson the hard way ?
