Nice one, Garetha!
Did they originally refuse you?
Any chance you can post the wording of your claim to give me some idea of how to word mine? Please??0 -
I submitted my claim against Barclaycard a week ago - hopefully I'll hear something soon! Will post once I do (had paid for it for my mum for two years), since a concert promoter went bankrupt last year I make sure I pay for everything on my credit card 'just in case'.0

copy of the body of my letterFurther to our recent correspondence and telephone conversation, where you agreed that you will be able to examine this issue, I append below a brief history of some of the problems and one sided communications with E7even / Touch Telecom following signing up with them last September, paying in advance for 2 years service using my Nationwide credit card.
They have failed to honour their contract to provide continuous reliable broadband service and afterwards they failed to honour an agreement to refund the advance payment with no penalty for those who moved away following a major disruption to service.
We migrated away on 19 April 2006 having has dreadful service for most of the time.
Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 provides that you, as the lender, are liable in this case and so I am claiming from you the sum of £.... as set out below.
I look forward to a speedy resolution of this matter.
I tried to claim dialup costs - but these were ignored in the settlement
But at least the bulk of the money was returned - and cost works out to £10 per month for the good months plus about £15 for the modem.
There was also a history of emails and E7 status reports - I will PM these to you if you like.0 -
Thanks again, Garetha. Much appreciated - as well as taking the time to e-mail me the history. You have been exceptionally helpful - I will be sending my claim into Tesc Visa tomorrow.

Here it is, 9thAug and I've remained faily patient all this while. Talktalk were due to make me live on 17th July. A week later they said the line was clear and they would despatch my "welcome pack" along with everything else, however nothing has arrived yet. After keeping away from this library computer for a fortnight, I thought I'd check what progress was being made via the talktalk site, but am no wiser. No doubt a lengthy phonecall to them later today might bring forth info. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Their number is 0800 169 0934
It may ring for a very long time, or you may be lucky, but worth hanging on to speak to someone there if you can.0 -
I STILL haven't been able to get the marker removed from the line. I've also got the added problem that I've signed up for TalkTalk, so now BT claim it's not their responsibility to clear the marker.
Is this correct? Surely it's going to have to be a BT engineer that actually actions the change?
BT have told me it's TlakTalk's problem; TalkTalk have said it's BT's problem and that I should contact OFCOM. OFCOM say it's BT's problem!
Help!!!0 -
BT Engineers, technically, but they're under a different company now called Openreach. BT Retail only share a name with them & wholesale now, they're a seperate company like other service providers now.
Again its the old point of people want BT being the monopoly when it suits
With regards to ceases in delay, theres widespread delays across the country for all ceases, not just e7 customers.0 -
Arrrgghhhh! Can someone pls help me with this mess????
After months of non-existent service, another month without being able to get a new provider so to avoid going with those other scumbags at EzeeDSL (I suspect they are the same people) now I've been asked for an 85 pounds "administrative charge" by a company called netservicesplc for releasing my domain name!!! I refuse to be the target of any more blackmailing by those companies. What can I do to stop all this and get my domain name back??0
