That's the planAlthough I'm a show-off when it comes to food so I expect I'll be hobbling around the kitchen trying to knock up something impressive for any guests who brave the journey to our place
All the rellies are a couple of hundred miles south so I'll have to sweet-talk them into coming

Afternoon!
I faild on breakfast, on the first day. (Long story involving dogs needing to go out about a dozen times through the night and me having an appt this morning...it was breakfast or makeup, make up won).
lunch (too late) was yummy though, I grilled a piece of bacon and crumbled it ovr some steamed brussels spouts and I had a couple of spoons of vegetable spoon left from last night which served as a sort of light sauce.
To make sure breakfast doesn't get abandoned tomorrow I'll be organising it before bed tonight.
Also, my car is in the garage so I'm walking two miles tonight whether I want to or not.
(I also didn't get on the scales this morning, lateness combined with fear.)0 -
Hi folks, well I'm back from lunch - it is so difficult to guess the calories when I'm not preparing the food myself. I made healthy choices but the calories are a bit of a guestimate. I think I'm on course, tho I'll know better tomorrow when I weigh myself.
Hi Breezerocks, thanks for the encouragement - feel free to join us if you need to / feel up to it.
Well done for eating Brekkies Dragon! Sounds like the scales are heading in the right direction
Fay, ouch, the toe sounds painful - but I did have a chuckle at the thought of six of you sharing a two seater settee..... :rotfl:
Lostinrates - sounds like a manic day, hope things have settled down? Make sure you have a nice warm brekkie before you set out tomorrow :AI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

I love water, and I find hot drinks make a good 'warmth' in your tummy when your feling misrable. But I've been trying to cut down on bottled water for green and MSE reasons, so I've just set up the water filter I've been meaning to deal with for a couple of weeks.
New inspiration is getting things done.0 -
Woot to both of you! I have been drinking fruit tea recently but Dr Dragon got me some more PG Tips today - so I need to have a pint of water every couple of hours and that should do me! (4 pints of water spread over the day - every day)
They say it takes 28 days to get a new habit sorted so here's going!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Morning fellow half stoners!
I've had my breakfast, yippee, btter start to the day today. And also, in spirit of sticking to good routie I have to be somewhere else at lunch time, so I'm taking lunch with me.And I think I might take a flask of herbal tea too.
AND I give a huge thumbs up to the water filter. I am really sensitive to taste, (weirdly I can tell which type of bottled water I'm drinking by the taste) and our tap water is less than inspiring, but the filter water was just fine. I'm more impressed than I thought I would be.
Have a good day!0
