Hi Ted, I am aware of this. I also suffer with fms, which tends to be exacerbated by low Vit D levels. Goodness knows with the summer we've had, we must all be Vit D deficient! For this reason I normally try and get away for a cheapo sunshine break at end of Oct, to top up my Vit D levels and see me through at least the first 6 weeks or so of the hibernation season. Unfortunately I missed my break this year, and what with the poor summer, I'm paying for it!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hiya Buttons - Well Done!
For new year, remember vodka and diet mixer has the fewest calories - and if you alternate with diet mixer alone, that will half your calories from drinks.
Or, of course, you could just throw caution to the wind, have a great night, and join us back here on 1st JanuaryI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
It's always diet coke and vodka I drink anyways, I'm a lightweight so a few gets me merry.
I do enjoy the taste of cider but It dosen't even get me tipsy and think of all those calories....!0 -
Okay I am not sure if I am still drunk or hungover! (I have never had a hangover but I have seen others in inaction!), I ended up having 2 bottles of wine last night/this morning which is about a bottle and a half more than normal!

Happy New Year Folks!!!
Well, amazingly, I finished the week only three quarters of a pound up! I can live with that!
Now I'm going to need you guys to really go some with me this month - I'm off to Turkey on 27th Jan for 28 days (or I will be once I've booked it tomorrow!)
Without my sloppy joe jumpers to hide me, I look like a sack of spuds, so I need to shed another half stone this month.
I've started a new thread, we are going great guns, lets go for it!
