SOooooo.... seems we've all had a difficult week for one reason or another!
BUT, we are sticking with it, and that's the main thing.
So we should give ourselves a pat on the back for having staying power!:T :T:T :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Good for you, keeping us cheerful
OK, well, I just can't face a proper supper. I'd normally have fruit feeling like this, but its too cold:o . I'm going to scratch around but it might end up being a cup of broth.0 -
AArrrrgghhhhh! Third day of second week, and I'm stuck!
I'm at 12st 4lbs - always my sticking point... I can never seem to break through...
I NEED to see the scales dip under the 12 stone mark (even 11st 13.99 would make me happy!)
Any tips for boosting weight loss when you hit a plateau?
How are the rest of you doing?I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Weight is creeping back down for me after the medication "blip", not sure what to suggest for a plateau - I normally just have to ride it out! Some one once suggested eating oranges and dried apricots - so you could try upping the amount of fruit (excluding bananananananananas you eat!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Can I join? I'd love to loose half a stone by xmas! I've been dieting the last 3months and have lost over 3st!
I'm still a fat blimp and weigh 13st 8lbs as of this morning....lowest I've been since I was pregnant, and that was almost 3years ago!!
I've plauteued the past 2weeks and I am not happy about it! Can't help that I'm not picking at bits here and there, a haribo sweet here, bag of wotsits there...no no no!
I have a friends 21st birthday party next Friday too, and he hasn't seen me in a few months so I think he will be in for a shock, but I still feel huge! I need to get to 10st 7lbs eventually....seems mammoth!0 -

Hi buttonmoons, and welcome! Sounds like you have done really well so far - and having a special event to aim for will hopefully give you a boost.
Do have a look at the caloriecount.com website - it is a useful tool, and has a graph for you to chart your weight loss, and best of all, it is free!
I am going to make a large bowl of my special recipe salad that I make when I'm trying to lose weight, as it means I've always got something in the fridge when I get the 'munchies'. I've never calorie counted it, but I'll do that and post the recipe

I did really well yestrday, and so far today.
Because th sun is out a salad seems a doable lunch (I'm not usually a fan of old food in cold weather) and so I'm doing a niscoise for lunch.0 -
At least I am well and truly back below 21 stone at 20 12.5!! Hopefully a good week and weekend for me and Monday will show a decent loss (no more flipping medication!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

YAY!!!!
After being stuck at 12st 4lb for a whole week, the scales have started to nudge down a bit today... not quite a whole pound, but at least the right direction.
Strange thing is... I fell off the wagon last night and had a drop too much of the red wine, so by rights I should have put weight on! Having said that, I sat and sorted through three boxes of old papers yesterday and recycled/shredded/filed the lot, so maybe I burned off enough calories to cancel the wine out!
I'm not taking any chances now though, I am determined to get to 12st 2lb by Monday!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
