Hi mrs miser,
Working is a no-no at the moment as DD is only 2 and we can't afford a childminder/nursery to put her in whilst I go back to work...hence the look at mystery shopping in the new year, but well worth thinking about when DD is a bit older.
As for challenges, there are a few floating about the thread on the first couple of pages.
Hope this helps.0 -
I actually started at the play group whilst my child was attending, so didnt pay child care.... no its not everyones cup of tea, but if theres an opening its worth getting in tox

Thanks for the tip mrs miser, will think about that one.
Have just had a look on Mysupermarket.com and had a play about, very impressed with it so might start to use that every week.
DH has just rung to say that he's on his way home from work now and therefore as Christmas has now begun for us we are going to the pub when he gets here.0 -

USELESS, USELESS, USELESS!!!!
I went to park the car tonight and forgot that DH hadn't closed the rear door of the car and reversed the car into next doors car!
So now we have a dented neighbours car and we also need a new car door!
So that is now more money that needs to be spent  thank god for insurance.

Can't OH get the Nic-assist gum on prescription? Or Poundland have one of the gums at £1 per pack.
If you join the Boots Health Club (free) then you get 1/2 price Nicorette 2mg and 4mg gum 210 piece packs so you pay £12.45 instead of £24.89. It works out much cheaper than the £10.99 for 105 pieces of Boots Nic-Assist gum.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Hi moo2 nice to see you on my thread  Happy Christmas to you.
DH is allergic to the nicorette gum, there is something in the coating that makes him really ill. The Boots Nic-Assist gum is the only stuff that he can have that doesn't react with him but it isn't available on prescription unfortunately.
The good thing with the Nic-Assist gum is that it is generally on offer so we get two of the big boxes for £16 and that tends to last him a while.0
