Happy Belated Birthday Floyd! Well done Tapladay on the STS and Wyrdsister on the 3lb loss!

Keiss - glad you have got the scan sorted out - I hope they will be able to sort it out from there.

Newlywed - I know what you mean about money worries making you eat - if I am skint I always seem to eat lots of rubbish - don't know why...

Thank you all for your kinds words. I went to the GP this morning who managed to put my mind at rest a little bit and I decided that I would try and eat better, as I really do think that when I eat nothing but rubbish my mood is even worse.

So this morning I went to Mr T's and got some healthy food choices and today I have had:

Breakfast - just had a milky coffee
Snack - small bag of baked crisps
Lunch - cup of tomato soup and scrambled salsa eggs with two small dry toasts. The scrambled egg was just delicious! I just chopped up very small some red onion, red pepper, tomatoes and a green chilli and mixed them together with a little salt and pepper. Then I "fried" this in a non stick pan for a few mins and added beaten eggs and scrambled them. It was really delcicous!

Don't know what to make for tea yet because I have got some leftover boiled cabbage and mashed potato in the fridge and I am thinking of trying to make a sort of corned beef hash thing with it or if not I might just make bubble and squeak type thing and have it with the leftover chicken I have in the fridge and some gravy. I do fancy the corned beef though......

I am so glad the Dr was able to help you calm down! And your food today sounds scrummy too - hope you are eating lots of it;)! I vote for the corned beef hash, but don't forget the corned beef isn't free anymore on SW !

    Love
    Marion

    :D good afternoon everybody.
glad you are feeling a bit better RS, we always think the worst but in reality there is 101 thing its more likely to be, its just human nature to worry the most about the things we have least control over.
not too bad today but think i ate a bit too much lunch, i was meant to be out with a collegue for an indian, working lunch but it was cancelled so i have probably still eaten a lot less cals than i would have done.
    todays plan,
    breakfast, wm toast x 2 (just for a change :D )
lunch, salad from morrisons salad bar (had a few pasta bits but nothing with too much mayo)
dinner, may be the very dodgy looking dish i made in the SC yesterday, creamy beef with smoked paprika, spinach and kidney beans, not sure i can face it though, may settle for poached egg on toast and give that to the rest of the family ;)

snacks, muller lite yog and 1/2 bag of crispy duck flavoured crisps someone gave and i had to try :o
will probably have a couple of squares of green and blacks after dinner.

does this sound ok or do you think its too much, am trying to reduce my portion sizes as i think i have got used to eating the same as OH.

    have a good day x

Happy Belated Floyd, glad you enjoyed your day! I saw those giant fancies in Tesco - was it as nice as it looks? Thinking of buying one as a present for someone - honest!:p

They taste just like the little ones so if you like those they are a great birthday cake, I was so touched as my work colleagues had really thought about what type of cake to buy me and gone to a store miles away to get it :T

    Hi all,

Still lurking, been crazy busy so only just had time to read and run. been sticking to plan for the most part but yesterday was a planned disaster as it was my birthday :)

So yesterday went something like this:
    B: Chocolate traybake
    11am: Vanilla traybake
L: Giant french fancy birthday cake
D: Breaded garlic mushrooms, linguine with tomato, black olives and courgette, garlic bread then mint ice cream and lots of red wine.

I feel plop today but hey ho its a once a year thing so I can live with that ;)

Today is far more sensible and I will be busy again so no time for snacking.

B: 2 wholemeal toast with low fat cream cheese

    L: Lentil soup

D: Not 100% sure but OH is making it so it will be something healthy and tasty.

Back on the wagon again. I had a STS last week when I weighed, wouldn't mind losing a few more pounds to add to the 2 stone that has gone since May last year but I am happy with a maintain at the moment.

    have a good day all

    Happy birthday for yesterday.:bdaycake:
    Hmmmm Garlic mushrooms.
Glad you had a good day.

You may recall last Friday, after a whole week of not bingeing, I said wouldn't it be nice to be able to come back on in a weeks time and say I still hadn't binged?

I hear Ladbrooks are givving 100/1 on me not bingeing for the whole two weeks. Anyone care for a flutter? I'll let you think about it today and tell you later. Knowing me as well as some of you do, do you think I actually did it?

Answers on a postcard please, well, on a post actually............................................

  • Good morning all - this is day 4 of my 100% plan and it is getting a little weird being so good:D The big test will be the weekend, especially with company coming tonight, but I am feeling very confident!

    Yesterday I had:

Breakfast - egg, bacon and hashbrowns - (free, free and 3 syns)

snack - couple of yellow plums and an apple

Lunch - Leftover pasta bake with added baked beans and baby tomatoes (free)

snack - hifi bar with one of my many daily coffees (heb, hea)

Dinner - Roast lamb, butternut squash, carrots, peas and mashed potato with raspberries, strawberries and 0% Total for dessert (all free:D) Later on I had a mini skinny cow ice cream sandwich but I couldn't find a syn value for it so will count it as 5 as that is what most of their bars are, so (5 syns)

I have kept below 10 syns since Monday, I am allowed 20 so will have up to 20 on the weekend if desired, this may help me control the weekend a little better:j

    Love
    Marion
