  • Hello everyone - well done on the loss Katy!

Marion - well done on sticking to the plan 100%. I wish I could report that I have kept up the good work from yesterday but today I have been awful - the bleeding got heavy again which made me even more anxious and this afternoon I had to go for my pre-op assessment which made me even more terrified. I have spent all evening crying and feeing beyond terrified. I just I wish I had my Mum here. Sorry that sounds like I'm such a self pitying wimp - I'd better go now.

I will try and pull myself together a bit before tomorrow!

    Hi all,

Well I have 1lb on this week but not surprised as my birthday and yesterday were rather indulgent and I enjoyed both :)

Back on the wagon today to try and get down to 11st 10, been there before Christmas when I was swimming lots so it will be tough but thats my target, 4lbs away but it seems like a hige distance because I keep plateauing at 11st 11/12!

B/L: Ciabatta roll with low fat mozarella, vine tomatoes, scrape of pesto and black olives

D: Roast chicken with sweet potato mash and loads of veggies

No extras today though, really trying to stick 100% to get on track again

    Have a fab weekend all

good morning and happy valentines day to you all :D i was very pleased to get a new wheelbarrow for my allotment, OH doesnt normally do valentines so i was very happy!

:grouphug: to RS, its not too long to wait now. wish i had more advice but i know nothing is going to stop you worrying.

:j well done frogga (you dont 'know' me but you seem to be a bit of a green legend round here :D )

well yesterday way was good and bad. the bad was that i went out for dinner last night, i ate too much but not outragously, i didnt have pudding but did have too much bread.
the good was that i weighed myself (in the morning) and have lost 2lb :j

today might be a bit off track as its valentines day, we have decided to have a night in with the kids instead of doing anything romantic and this inevitably involves eating pizza of some description. will do margarita for me and ddnand OH and ds can have the fattening pepperoni that they both love.

so today should look like this....

breakfast, have just had low fat, hm american pancakes with loads of strawberries, grapes, bannana, kiwi :D

    lunch, not sure, something light

dinner will be the aforementioned pizza with salad, i will try to avoid the rubarb crumble and custard  there will also be a sneaky glass of red!

    have a good one :D

  • Morning all! And happy Valentines day! Hope everyone is having a good weekend and hugs for RS again. Grats vixtress, katycocoa and anyone else I may have missed on the losses! :D

Yesterday I was quite bad, I fell off the wagon and had a bag of crisps :o I also did not very much exercise, but I did walk my 2 mile trip to and from work so that wasn't too bad.

Had some chicken breasts that needed using up so I made Thai green curry for the OH and the same for me but with Quorn. Unfortunately I made too much paste so it'll be thai green something every two days for the next week :p

Today I'm trying to be good as me and the OH are having indian takeaway for our valetines meal (He's never had a proper indian curry before! But he's from Romania so I'll let him off! So being "sensible" for the rest of the day.

Breakfast - Muesli and 1 slice WM toast.
Lunch - Cheese sandwich with 1 slice WM Bread
Dinner - Indian Takeaway (wish me luck!) :p

Off to work for two measly hours but at least I'll do my 2 mile walk
    Ta ta for now!

  • Good Afternoon fellow old fashion weight losers.

Happy valentine's day.... Gosh is already the middle of February does time seem to whizz by at a rate of knots. It does not seem five minutes since it was Christmas we were celebrating. Next day on the calendar is pancake day or shrove Tuesday as it is also known.

Well talking of the dreaded weekly weight in well nothing lost for me this week but on the positive note I have not gain anything. I am looking forward to the warmer weather when I can go outside without fear of the cold or ice. In the warmer weather I will be able to walk around a bit more and maybe I might start in earnest to lose weight. I seem to be on a plateau at the minute which I can not seem to break through. Though I see the time on the plateau as time for maintenance in the future.

Congratulations to those who have managed to lose weight this week and for those who have not had good results on the scales. Better luck next week and maybe the results will be good for you. So keep up the good work.

A bit late coming on here today as I have been catching up on my chores that have seemed to back up a bit. Only ironing left to do but my back is hurting now but a heat pack on my back and it is working wonders.

    The menu for today is

BREAKFAST cereal with flaxseed and goji berries
LUNCH lamb hotpot with chickpeas, butternut squash, carrots and parsnip
DINNER vegetable and lentil soup (HM) and banana and walnut muffin (HM)

SNACKS fruit, yoghurt, pine nuts and cuppa soup

Going to check on my soup now that I have reheating in the oven. So bye for now and take care all. Till next time bye

Had an invite from some cousins to meet them in NY in May for a week. They have booked an appt just off Times Square in the theatre district so we should have so much fun!!:j:j:j

Something to aim for and keep me good!!

wow. that sounds fantastic, i have always wanted to go to NY!

well this weekends not been great but not a total blowout either, went out for a lovely meal on friday night and ate far too much but still managed to think a bit about what i ordered and avoid pudding
yesterday had more pizza than i should have had and had a small portion of pudding, this would have all been doubled a few weeks ago though.

well the main thing is that i am still avoiding the mindset of 'i have blown it anyway so i may as well eat everything in sight'

today is again not going to be a great day for dieting but i still intend to control what i put in my mouth!

breakfast: just had a bacon butty on wm, yummy :D

lunch will be somthing picked up whilst we are out.....going to a huge indoor waterpark for the day!!!

dinner: roast beef and roasted veg in a hurry when we get back

its sooooo quiet on here :( have a good day

  • Hello
    retiredlady, New York, how exciting.

purpleorc, hopefully spring is just around the corner and we will be walking every day.

Vixtress hello:hello: I'm around this morn.

Have been good this week after being ill last weekend, have been very carefull not to overdo the eating. Smaller portions and trying hard to resist the temptations, hopefully it will result in a loss on Monday. Saturday wasn't too bad but I still didn't manage to get out. Phoned a friend and she came over for a chat so that was nice, keeps my spirits up when people visit. Also means other family members can be roped in to help with some tidying.
Have bowl of fruit salad with added banana and nat yog for bfast. Not sure about other meals depends if I manage to get out.
    Have a good day everyone.
