Well done JoJoB - did you notice that your snacks used up more calories than your meals?;) It is something to think about anyway! More power to you if you can manage it, I am not yet anywhere near the point where I can control my portions, I think I would starve if I had to manage on half a banana etc. Actually I think I am physically incapable of eating only half a banana :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T

Yes, that huge dollop of coleslaw I could have done without! The apples in the fridge have become a lot more attractive in comparison. :D

And I'm afraid the half a banana was only because I made the baby a lazy breakfast of half a mashed up banana and I had the other half. :o

Only have to last another 3 hours before OH gets home and then we'll have a hm roast veg pizza. I must try to resist the tin of syrup in the cupboard calling me to do naughty things with it. (Isn't it funny how something you would never normally eat becomes almost irresistable when it's the only sweet thing in the house?)

We all have bad days sometimes vixtress so I am not going to kick you too hard! Maybe a little nudge with my slippered foot to remind you that tomorrow is another day - remember just because you didn't do so good today doesn't mean you can't be excellent tomorrow! :grouphug: One day at a time....

Haven't been good or anywhere near it in a while.....I like to have breakfast when I get, whereas OH likes to wait a couple of hours...you got it, I have two breakfasts and his is likely to be a fry or big Spanish omelette or similar. Some days I manage to make second breakfast my lunch and then eat nothing until dinner....other days not so good.....

    To-day I have eaten:

B...1 weetabix and banana, 2 slices bread with butter and gooseberry jam, coffee.

    L...Cappucino with sugar

D...Steak, mushrooms, onions, tomato(all fried!), mashed potatoes, large slice of weetabix cake, coffee.

Congratulations to the losers, hope to join you some day!

I know the 2 breakfast scenario well meanmarie. I'm trying to get round it by making the first course an apple. :D

Stuck to the 1500 calories yesterday and envision today being easier, but who can tell? Have to do food shopping today so will sit down and plan everything out in a bit, but might go something like this:

Breakfast: apple, omelette (2 eggs) in frylight (200 cals-ish)

    Lunch: campbells mushroom soup (200)

Dinner: veg and bean curry with rice and quinoa (600)

That leaves me 500 calories to snack with

  • I woke up with the munchies this morning so I made a double portion of breakfast rice with blueberries and topped it with 0% Total sweetened with splenda, served the whole thing up in a pasta bowl and now feel totally stuffed:o:o - but at least it was free food and I didn't have the toasted bagel that I fancied (one wouldn't have been enough!):rotfl:

I am pleased to report another 100% day yesterday, this could get habit forming as I really enjoy the challenge - who'd have thunk it!!:rotfl::p

    Yesterday I had:

Breakfast - just fruit and a muller since it was weigh in day.

Lunch - Toasted bacon and tomato sandwich with a side salad and pickled beetroot (heb, free)

Dinner - Fish (cod and salmon), rice, peas, sweetcorn, soya beans, onions and peppers (all free) all baked together in the Remoska. (free)

milk in coffees through the day was my HEA plus in the afternoon I had a cookie that was 4 syns

late night snack was a meringue with frozen raspberries, 0% total and a raspberry muller (2.5 syns)

Have a good one everybody, I am taking Charlie to the groomers today for a cut and blowdry and have just realised that he has his hair done way more than I do!

    Love

  • Morning all, hoping to get back on track today as the weekend was pretty bad :o
After some very yummy takeaway on saturday (I was good and saved some for dinner on sunday) we were out on Sunday and stopped for a pub lunch and I couldn't resist both a starter and main. The main course was a baked potato with cheese beans and salad so it wasn't as bad as it might have been :p But I was fairly inactive over friday/sat/sun so feeling really guilty!

So today I'm going to do a gentle half hour workout then a more rigorous half hour and lots of cleaning. Food shall hopefully be:

Breakfast - 2 slices of toast with cheese spread
Lunch - Tomato and potato pie with salad
Dinner - Veggie Kiev with brocolli, peas and cauliflower

Well done to all the losers and have a nice day all :D

    Hi all,

All is well today, feeling snacky probably because I had such a rubbish start to the day so want to stress eat (half of the city is dug up so it took me an hour to get to work insteads of 15 mins)

B: wholemeal toast with cream cheese

    L: Indian chickpea soup

D: Quorn sausage casserole with veggies

S: Probably only apple and a yoghurt with lots of water

Have a good day all :)
  • Quick Hello as I'm late for work
Yesterday was dreadful, teens came in late then I went out and bought them pizza but the girls then felt ill and couldn't eat, guess who helped finish the leftovers? Day time was quite good but I did succumb to 2 eclairs and one sherbet fizz from the sweet jar. Have moved it off my desk again. I am so weak. Dinner tonight will envolve pasta, brocoli, leak and anything else in the fridge. Those who complain can make their own. Did manage to fit in 6k steps.

Another stresser here with transport problems

Bus was 20mins late this morning, then it was diverted due to water main replacements  finally got here half an hour late, desperate for the loo and have only just found time to eat breakfast

Yesterday was a good day, stuck to plan and had 5 syns in total:D

Today: late brekkie - 28g oats, yoghurt, berries, banana
L: leftover SW quiche, salad, fruit
D: not sure yet, I had planned shepherdess pie but didn't get chance to cook it at the weekend so might have pasta and make some sort of mushroom sauce.

Alpen bars, fruit and yoghurt for snacks.
    Exercise will be walking again!!

Have a good day folks :A
