  • Just had a second breakfast (or I guess I could call it brunch!) which consisted of a bacon roll. Not very healthy. There is also a huge bag of sweet pastries sitting in my office so I'm definitely going to be munching my way through those today - I'm in serious comfort eating mode!
There's a couple of things stressing me out at the moment & to top it all off I've not been sleeping well (hardly at all last night!) so feel like I need to eat just to stay awake at the moment!

Have been feeling like this for a few days but have resisted until now so I'm just going to go for it and have a high fat/sugar day! (despite having my usual treat at the weekend!) :(

Another stresser here with transport problems

Bus was 20mins late this morning, then it was diverted due to water main replacements

Rockie, you weren't going through Parliament St in Liverpool were you ;) ? Thats what they were doing that held me up too. They seem to think that by replacing water mains during half term that there will be no other traffic on the road!

Took me nearly an hour to get home last night driving a completely different way to my normal route so going to try a 3rd option tonight. If that fails, I'm getting the train tomorrow

No, Manchester City centre:mad: Last night there was a burst so they moved the bus stop about half a mile away  but they're replacing water mains all over the city, the diversions are horrendous  I usually drive but my car is poorly:cry: so I opted for the bus.............think I should have gone for the train option!! My journey is usually 30/40mins but takes up to an hour and a half on the bus, is it any wonder we voted NO to the congestion charge :D

Might have to plan a snack for the journey home :rotfl:

I'm bored. It's half term and there is no routine so I'm clock watching every second waiting for the next time I can eat :o

Tadpole 1 is STILL in bed  What a disgrace!

I can feel myself getting bored and thinking bout food. Oh the devil will make work for idle hands to do...........

:naughty:No no no frogga,:naughty::naughty: just think how happy you were when you posted to say you'd lasted with no binge.

If you give in, you will give in BIG time (knowing you ;)).

    You are stronger than that.

Find something to do? Walk the dogs? Sort out your wardrobe/kids room/junk cupboard?

    HI Newlywed :kisses3:

I've walked the dogs, already got tidy wardrobes, and I don't do junk! The pond is as neat as a new pin. Just went upstairs for a wee so that relieved the boredom for 37 seconds

I just wish the time would come when food isn't the first thing I think about in the morning, the last thing I think about at night and the only thing I think about inbetween!

I knew this week would be difficult cause I'm only in week 3 and there is no school bell going off to tell me when it's break and lunch. At least Alan Titchmarsh is now comming on so I can watch him :D

    Today I have had

Breakky ~ Museli and Rice milk
Snack ~ Banana and soya yoggy
Lunch ~ Coleslaw sarnie on seedy bread
Snack ~ 2 oatcakes with peanut butter
Tea ~ Jacket pot with chilli and veggies

That's quite normal for me aint it? :D

Well done frogga. Tis a very good healthy looking menu. Sorry for suggesting you had junk cupboards ;):o

So me thinks you need a new hobby to occupy your hands or mind

Do you do crafts? Knitting? Sewing? Cross stitch? Crochet? Jewellery makings? Art? Decorating? Reading? Playing cards? Playing a board game with the kids (if they get up ;))? Photography?

Sorting digital photo's and getting them printed? Organizing a photo album?

Whooops.... How about trying to be first on a new page of every thread on MSE???? :rotfl:

It's helping weight loss though, it's all tips on how not to give in to the call of food when bored!!! All OS suggestions ;):D

Got any favourite films you can put on? Jigsaw puzzle?

I know those moods well - hence I have started the majority of the above hobby suggestions and have numerous half finished projects around the place (and in the top shelf of the wardrobe - hence my sorting out suggestion :o)

    Yeah hope RS is ok.
